  1. The sweater analysis is crazy
  2. Idk if I’m becoming an old head but I find most new artists coming out to be so I underwhelming and wack lol
  3. Ok so I don’t like the outfit at all lol it’s very old lady (in my opinion!!!) but she looks SO good, these last six months are prob the most glam she’s ever been (since like 2013 at least)
  4. I fear she’s just going to do the same set from tour but if she does wanna spice it up for Coachella, she should do Freak and Sad Girl just cause I want her to
  5. You can’t tell me she was listening to Art Deco/Serene Queen/High By the Beach when she made this also, this song gives very much Born to Die influence, from the eerie kind of ethereal-ness of the production to the big orchestral swell at the end Mariah the Scientist is GOD
  6. i often feel like a lot of her unreleased songs are just other ‘versions’ or ‘reboots’ of the songs that did make the cut…like she’ll make a couple songs out of the same idea and pick the one she likes best Sad Girl/Your Girl, Ultraviolence/Cult Leader, Off to the Races/Heavy Hitter, Blue Jeans/TV in Black and White, Religion/Crazy for You, etc…. obviously they’re not direct correlations BUT (in my head) a lot of her unreleased songs have a sister song that DID make the album. I can see why certain songs got cut because they’re basically the same as others. She wanted to write a song about _______ so she came up with a couple and picked/refined her favorite one.
  7. Baby this got too dark for me I’m saying I want a nose job too
  8. I’ll be needing that doctor referral…
  9. hmmm….Nicki Minaj specifically wrote Stupid Hoe to be, well, stupid. It’s a diss but not aggressive more just making fun of the person it’s aimed at (which is Lil Kim who I also love dearly.) I love when she breaks the fourth wall at the end and acknowledges that she just fucked up a note and can’t really sing. speaking of Lil Kim, her song “this is a warning” features her singing a song of death threats, the whole thing is laughably bad and corny, but again…that’s the point. Please listen, it’s so fucking funny i remember one of the demos of lana recording dream girl she literally says at the end “whatever this song is a joke anyway.” Brooklyn Baby is also very ironic/self-satirical.
