noooooo i am SO sad that we'll never get this book as it was....heart breaking. (though knowing that she hasn't a clue about feminism i am fine with not receiving that particular poem lol). still hope we get another poetry book though who the fuck knows when it'll be...i imagine she has a contract for a second book with simon & schuster though so i'm sure we'll get one eventually.

I understand it as her making the choice to put this album out, raw and unfiltered as it is, carefree as it is, but that’s just a guess! IMO the Mike pics reference how he helped her make this decision by writing the early songs with her that opened her up to the possibility of writing so freely about her personal history.

i really think we'll get a longer, comprehensive lyric book eventually, esp considering how well her poetry book did, though who knows when we'll get it.

n.k. jemisin's broken earth trilogy– on book #2 rn and it's so good! lapvona is my fav book of hers (love some of her others books, hate others), but fyi it is extremely brutal
