i genuinely love chromatica (did not love joanne tho had a few tracks i like), esp bc it helped me deal with so many hard feeling in early covid. i think the level of fame she lives in/with has seriously traumatized her and created lots of problems re her friendships/intimate relationships etc. but imo she still has IT– saw both the jazz/piano show and chromatica ball this past year and both were phenomenal, very different but both perfect.

ok after listening to the album nonstop since release the only songs i think i'd cut are F2F, conceited, too late, and far...a 19 track album this incredible is still nuts! also shirt finally hit for me and

i am DYING to hear the "right" version, bc the one that leaked does have (imo) v dated sounding instrumental (reminiscent of goldfrapp) but the vocals/lyrics are perfection. her output between BTD's recording and UV being released is such an interesting period for her writing– she seemed to be trying a lot of new stuff but also writing allllll these songs that to me sound like rock classics (not exactly classic rock but her own spin on it– thinking of wild one, i talk to jesus etc). i really hope we get a memoir from her someday, if not about her personal life then at least chronicling her life as an artist.

i got: love cherry the greatest first of all, super fun game, thank u for making! love is one of my least fav lana songs, i always skip it, but it's vibe is so sweet and optimistic that i am happy to see it come up in a game like this. cherry i love, one of her most fun slut bops, and the greatest if of course one of the great songs of our apocalyptic generation so evergreen. seeing as the new record comes out the day after my bday i'd say lana has predicted a wonderful year full of love, yearning, and thoughtful retrospection for me

Lol I love her, we all knew that’s why she’s had promo billboards in Tulsa for the past two albums anyhow and the fact that she’s publically confirming is so funny. Fuck that guy, long live Lana but also mama the best revenge is ignoring him for the rest of his pathetic life and continuing to live yours like the queen u are. also I think it’s obvious that he was the relationship closest to her getting what she very badly wants, which is to be partnered w someone “when’s it gonna be my turn” so I get that she’s still stinging from it all.
