This is why I argue that the horse picture disc IS the superior album cover. it looks less like an instagram picture, includes people that are actually featured on the album, and CONTINUES the theme of there being a form of transportation. (and isn't she wearing white on the COCC cover?) but, even without the horse, the picture of her at the table can represent that she's finally found her people that she trusts and is in a good and stable place in life despite the chemtrails and tornadoes over her daily life. She's no longer running, only reflecting on the past, literally. The HMV cover in the mountains kind of symbolizes the same meaning, except she's instead contemplating alone and "turning inward." I also get the feeling we might not get an album trailer. At first I did think the COCC (MV) trailer was the COCC (album) trailer, but now that we got a WD teaser... IDK. Someone else said this, but If we do get one (we better...) I really hope it was filmed at the same place the horse pic was taken, with Nikki and Zellla and Weyes, and that its very desert and country-like. Also speaking of the folk and country influence on this album and the 2 cover albums, we know she can do well in country because the two Ally Coalition songs, I loved them. (They need a release imo) And bc of May Jailer's folk era, I think this album definitely will be a more advanced/mature version of her past self sonically and thematically. ANWAYS COCC is so soon, I can't wait to see if our expectations are off and the album's better than we imagined or it's exactly as good as we imagined. Either way I know it will be good and really raw.

I assume the male vocal on A Thousand Words is Mike Squillante bc he performed it with her (her old guitarist) and I remember when he performed crybaby with her, it's one of the best live versions of that song. Mel honestly sounds great with a guy's voice, I doubt she'll ever do collabs on her albums, but it would be interesting to see a duet...

why does the wiki say there's a k-12 outtake called "AK-47" ... I wonder if that will leak along w gluestick and eraser. I see why she didn't put gluestick out if she planned for 'glued' to be released. what is "Intro" and if it really has leaked then where can I hear it? lmao I loved the intro on the crybaby tour and hearing the real version of it would be a cool intro to the crybaby album or even a tour album. I remember when she brought it back for the CB part of k-12 tour and I freaked out seeing it.

someone on YouTube who uploaded 'Cooties' said it was from 2014 "from the same session as Teddy Bear" and I can see that. I wish we knew who leaked it and they could confirm info like this. and I agree 'Papercut' could've been a K-12 leak because the lyrics relate to school, the vocals seem recent (?), and that album was supposed to be "hip-hop inspired." I wonder if 'paper cut' is referring to what I think it is. Also what happened with the MØ Charli XCX production at the end? I wasn't expecting that, these two songs' production don't sound "Melanie" enough to me.

oh speaking of honeymoon lyrics, I would always hear her say "all the lights in my attic begin to gleam" in salvatore. I'd hear "a little body never hurt no one" in art deco. and at the end of 24 I always heard "you're hard to reach... you caught the touch." lmao why. this is so embarrassing, but in west coast before I knew she said "parliament's on fire" I always heard "his bottom is on fire (??)" even though I knew it could never be that. and another from UV, I used to think I was crazy hearing the "lay me down tonight..." line in both, title track and FMWUTTT, but it IS in there. I just think the lyrics are a bit altered. we love a queen of recycling. I feel the need to point out some BTD lyrics I use to hear and sing incorrectly (and I think others did too.) Summertime Sadness: "Sizzling like a snail" always gave me a funny image, but now we know it's "like a snare." also I only found out like a couple years ago the bridge says "even if you're gone I'm gonna drive (?)" instead of "try." I use to also think it said "rain is better than never" lmao "even if you're gone I'm gonna dry." Carmen: I use to think it said "buy her tonight, she's still shining." but it's "audio-tune lies (??)" I know for a fact there's more I use to mishear too, but most of them have been mentioned in this thread. It's good to know we all were confused on some of these together lol, instead of just one.

I can't believe I use to sing it "you get fucking hard for me, sipping on you like a Coca Cola." and I swear at some part I though she said "looking at you like a magazine" or something. But, I was at that concert and I was SO glad to have that mystery finally uncovered so I could stop guessing the lyrics lol.

I may be wrong, but I remember hearing/downloading every stem on my old computer. nevertheless these leaks are so exciting, finally the stems leaked after people have hoarded them and remixed with them for years now. THE "oo" Dollhouse stems I can't they're so beautiful.

exactly. I think the two songs from the coalition were so pure and soft. "the only girl you had eyes for played downtown at the local bar, that was me. she was me!" I wonder if any of the four Nikki songs with Lana could be a rework of Hey Baby Blue (blue baby?), and IMBSFBSH. I mean they are country/folk-ish songs after all. I would live for a COCC deluxe w Dealer, Thunder, and the coalition songs. and the fact that she was working on a Country cover album AND folk cover album? Maybe the idea of 'American Standards' melded into two genre-albums or vice versa. Either way I'm here for any cover by Lana. A studio 'Heart-Shaped Box,' or 'The End of the World,' or even 'Smile.'
