Lana posted the tracklist but it got taken down because her boob was in the post, there's apparently an album delay to March 24th, and there's going to a boxset for the album

I didn't see the post, can anyone show me what she posted? I assumed it would have been the back cover, idk what's going on really bc you're all being too wild and I'm too lazy for this lol

relistened to the whole album again for the first time in a year and wow… it aged even worse than expected :awkney: which is weird considering i loved it when it came out and found it miles better than cocc. time the ultimate truth teller after all…

it’s a cosmic miracle it still gets the daily streams it gets considering how unnecessarily long and boring the album as whole is. Several songs on their own are pretty good but 14 piano ballads back to back lord have mercy :air2:

Clearly it just isn't for you. I wouldn't mind if we got another full piano album at all as long as the lyrics are good.

Is it weird to say this track is in my top ten LDR already :lange:

Ok, maybe 15 - but ten of them are on the same level of excellence for me :eartha:

Maybe top 5 for me honestly, which is insane because she's my favourite artist of all time. How does she do this? :crying5:

Maybe it’s just me, but the blowing sound at the beginning of TUOB reminds me of someone trying to calm themselves down with breathing:bebe:

It almost makes me wonder what the mood of The Grants will be since it precedes TUOB: something more more troubled that would require a moment to exhale? Or are the two tracks mostly unrelated sonically? We’ll see!

Personally, I’d love for the songs to flow into one another in a sonically and thematically adherent way (like in Honeymoon), but I have a feeling The Grants will be great regardless!

I thought it was her breathing :hide:

  4. I wish people would post in this thread more often, it's fun. Until we get the new album I'm listening to this

    Text Book
    Blue Banisters
    Arcadia
    Interlude - The Trio
    Black Bathing Suit
If You Lie Down with Me
    Buddy's Rendezvous
Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd
    Dealer
    Thunder
    Wildflower Wildfire
    Summertime
    Nectar of the Gods
    Fine China
    Cherry Blossom
    Sweet Carolina

(I love Beautiful, Violets for Roses, Living Legend and Sweet Carolina but this playlist just works for me until we get all of the new music)

If anything, I think she’s going to cover Don’t Forget Me by Harry Nilsson. BoZ quoted lyrics from the song on ATRL and Lana was listening to it in her livestream last October, just as she said it would be important to know “later on in the year” that she loves Harry Nilsson.

    Yes please :thumb2:

I feel like we haven't talked about this enough, and it's totally speculative but this is the LDR9 meltdown thread after all so who cares. Do we think Lana will tour again? Even if it is a few shows here and there on the west coast or even a full tour like LATTM? I know with Covid and everything the last two years have been really iffy for live performance planning but now it seems like a lot of artists are falling back into the groove. Given that, what are the lipsters thinking on this one?

We do know that she said she did appreciate the times she was able to perform with Nikki Lane and was genuinely enjoying performing for an audience even if it was a much smaller audience than her usual shows. We also know that the tour page on her website had been altered in some way even though we don't quite know how yet given the new website rollout is still a black screen.

I personally think we might be able to look forward to at least a few west coast shows and even a few major cities, given the way this rollout feels so much different than COCC and BB especially. Obviously nothing is for certain and maybe I'm just being ignorantly hopeful but I really do feel like if this era continues to give the way it has been the last few days we might actually be fed. :true::smile2:

I hope she doesn't because it probably slows down the creative process sometimes
