Arcadia's horns have me by the throat. I really missed that cinematic feel Also the western undertones in some songs (and obviously the interlude) makes me think the middle part of the album is going to be fun

I still not understand what is lazy about using outakkes. It's not like the songs were handed to her, she actually wrote and recorded them, just not this year. She has like +200 unreleased songs and she's giving us the second album this year (and probably a third one soon with the covers). Lana is FAR from lazy. She's also been working nonstop since BTD dropped. Cmon the longest we ever had to wait between albums was 2 years

Also cause Chemtrails was delayed because of vinyl production (and a bit for tracklist changes). It was supposed to come out late 2020 and with BB coming late 2021 it would have been a pretty normal interval between albums for Lana I think

2023 AOTY is probably going to Adele already . As long as the Grammys keep changing her into pop categories I don't think she'll get one cause at the end of the day mainstream appeal is (sadly) a huge factor for a win in the main awards. AOTY seems to be a fair category sometimes (for example when Kacey won for Golden Hour versus Cardi, Drake and Post Malone) but I don't know if she'll get another nomination there even if she releases a better album than NFR (she already did x2 tho )

WTFFF I didn't expect this at all (also YouTube didn't notify me for some reason) She looks stunning (she always does but there's something about the way it's filmed that makes her look extra pretty) Imagine if she releases a MV for every track like this one, just simple one-take visuals

I swear to God I drunkenly DM'd Barrie when UFB leaked to tell him that he had to release Riverside and I deleted it the day after cause I was ashamed

I know the MV (if we get one) it's probably going to be for the title track but I wish it was for Thunder or some little jam if there's one on the album. Blue Banisters already paints a perfect picture in your head with its lyrics so I don't know how a MV could elevate the song more (unless it's a cinematic masterpiece in the vein of Ride/Tropico). But for now I'd take anything we can get tho cause you never know with Lana I trust her vision.

She's going nowhere but I called it a "farewell album" more in the sense that she ended a phase, from getting teared up everywhere for BTD to the critical acclaim of the last records while telling her story the way she always wanted to. She's a workaholic and she loves crafting her art so I'm sure she's not stopping anytime soon. Also this is all speculation. Maybe she's indeed releasing Bluer Banisters next

I have a theory about BB and the next album(s): She's telling her story with this coming record and she even took old songs that made sense so it's almost like a little compilation of her life (like she said, it's where she was, where she is now etc.). She's had enough and wants to go out with a bang. After BB she will have nothing left to prove commercially or critically so I think this is a "farewell" album. She's not retiring of course but I expect a complete shift on her music and new stuff (like she said when deactivating her socials). The cover album is going to be the record that closes this Lana era we know and love. There's nothing more "Lana" than covering old classic songs. LDR9 is the Mike album (unless he's the producer of the middle part of BB that we don't know about) and she said earlier this year that she was already writing and recording the next record (even though BB was changed she only picked different unreleaseds and scrapped LYTAN but I don't think she recorded new material for the final version we'll hear this month). LDR9 is going to be a wild ride. I'm so excited to see what's next.

NFR is lowkey overrated

I didn't like most of UV on first listen I thought MTWBT was her most boring song for a good 2 years (even though HM has been my fav Lana album since release lol)

Manifesting interviews, magazine covers and a MV now that it's officially release month She always puts out something very close to the album so I trust her this time too

Do we think this is still AS&C? Maybe the "limited" repertoire was cause she wanted to release it before Christmas but now that she doesn't have a date she can expand to any song they let her cover. I really want some Peggy and some Nancy

I'd scrap MDM for a different reason tho... I like the song but I only listen to it when I put the whole album on.
