We have to get an album trailer. Every era since Paradise had one besides the two 2021 albums but their releases were on the lowkey side (specially BB) so it makes sense to get one this time that the rollout seems well planned She'll release it next year and will feature the title track, the new single and another song

It feels like not even stores got the tracklist cause at least one would have published it under the vinyl listing by mistake so maybe she doesn't want to reveal it yet. Maybe we'll get it with the next single next year BB tracklist was out with the preorder I think (or at least we got it from her store using the different links before the album was out) so it feels deliberate this time (or just an oversight who knows)

I wonder what Neil meant by "drop some new work next week". Could he mean there's still more from the photoshoot? Cause they released a lot of stuff... 5 covers each with even more different pictures associated and the 2 single pictures "Some new work" could just mean the Lana stuff as a whole since he works with other artists and also does his own thing but I like to dream I still think there's more to it... I find the 2 pictures from the single suspicious. Maybe they filmed a MV (or visuals for another song) or maybe it's just from a scrapped album photoshoot (even tho from Neil's words it seems like they were really determined to do the room photoshoot with the one take thing and all that...)

Can we just appreciate the new era without having to trash everything up to this point?

What I don't understand about BOZ description is his comparison with MAC. Like besides a couple of the obvious lines I never considered that song as a response to the media so if he's not 100% sure about this one is probably going to be really subtle (or maybe is too complex to analyze and understand ). Like he said it was about the perception of the media, her alleged fake persona, being a woman in the music industry etc but he said he doesn't know if it's indeed about that I'm really really curious about it. Also the sea theme excites me

I hope "unconventional structure" means we get not one but two bridges per song She has to compensate for the lack of them lately

Did they use the same "love" from the chorus for the clean version? It doesn't sound copy and pasted but it does sound really similar to the next part (it's probably the same note too and all that I guess)

At least now I only see the ones that pop up like a banner in the top of the screen... there was a period that it appeared on both sides (top and bottom) and I couldn't see half of the screen (specially when typing)

Wasn't Chemtrails the one made at the same time as NFR? At least the majority of it came from those "calmer songs" she did with Jack while doing the "Norman songs" and the "bombastic" ones. There's also a bit of overlap between Chemtrails and BB since she teased BBS before even releasing Chemtrails but it could have been just a poem or something at that point... The triple singles were probably recorded around the time she posted the BB scrapped teaser (so early 2021). The only one we know for sure is Sweet Carolina being in June and from that point onwards she started DIK since she had a few songs already when she released BB (the Mike H ones I guess) The vinyl delays made the timelines funky but I guess Chemtrails was finished in September 2020 and thats when she started recording and writing the BB songs

I wouldn't mind if the SYML song is just the piano cause it's so good

I don't know how representative is the title track of the whole album but it's funny how she said in the W Magazine Yet she started the song painting the most beautiful and visual picture ever

My expectations for this album change daily With every new bit of info I'm more confused about what we're getting (all I know is that it's going to be great considering the amazing song we just got)

I'm really excited about the long song now specially the title And since he said it's his favorite/2nd place it's 99% the acronym he posted back then. And about the Tommy Collab I don't think boz means that it's just an interlude. I think it's not a rap/trap banger and that's why he said that

Just realized the DNC polaroid photoshoot is kinda similar to the album one. Just her lying down on the sofa and on the floor It's the album photoshoot (demo) Also I think Mike is in one of the pictures... maybe DNC is one of the early songs they wrote together for the record

Imagine if it's a visual album and that's why she hasn't released (or even teased) a MV for the single Even if it's homemade and simple it would be really nice to have visuals to accompany every song

Someone said the deep breath on title track is a sigh of relief after talking all the shit about her family in The Grants and that's all I think about now The fact that Rob is not credited as a writer makes me think it's going to be really different from Sweet Carolina

About Sweet I have a similar feelings that I had for Beautiful. I thought the really simple title was to throw people off and surprise them with a really complex song... and well I don't hate Beautiful at all (I actually like it quite a bit sometimes) but I expect Sweet to be simple ballad with piano and some strings

With lana the lines between official singles and promo songs are really blurred Like for example Love felt like a lead single but LMLYLAW or Honeymoon (song) were more like first tastes of the album (with Chemtrails and HBTB being the actual "leads") I also feel the same with all the pre FIILY/TG Norman songs cause we didn't get a proper video until then and they were released really in advance. Since we got the whole preorder with the title track this time it feels like a real lead single even though we didn't get a MV (yet I hope). It's an arbitrary classification at this point I guess

We'll get crumbs of AKA eventually. She already released Yayo and that PSB video I'm sure she has at least another couple of songs there she'll want to revisit but there's no way she re-releases the whole thing
