I love her piano ballads (even the recent ones) so I wouldn't mind but I guess something with a bit more punch would be more exciting as a lead single/first taste

Probably a single that very same day since she releases any day and not just on Fridays Maybe she announces it for friday tho but I don't think we'll get just info this coming week

I can't imagine a completely new sound for Lana cause what can she (realistically) do that she hasn't done yet? Unless she goes full on jazz or rock (not the UV kind) I can't see it being totally different from her previous records (which is completely fine and normal, specially since she's really prolific and has released like 10 albums in 10 years)

I have a tab with it on my phone and I check every now and then and it didn't change sadly. I also daily shazam Rockefeller with no luck

I don't want to move too much but... CFY might be on the album. A twitter account posted some snippets trying to pass them for LDR9 stuff and their account was completely deleted (and they've been posting for a while, it wasn't a new throwaway account) The song is still up in other places so it may not have been a copyright thing and it doesn't get recognized by shazam (but neither does Rockefeller). Maybe they deleted the account themselves and it's unrelated to the song tho

Imagine if she gave them 10 early copies of the vinyl and she debuts with that, 10 albums sold

It would be amazing and exciting but there's no way her label would agree to have a 2 day preoder and I doubt they pressed vinyls in 2 months

Honestly at this point I don't care if BOZ was talking about her or not back then. All I took from it was that a Lana album was close and now it's confirmed by her, that's all I wanted I still think it was about her cause he called the collab fantastic and recently the album "really great" so...

Yeah the album is 100% done and ready (not the vinyl tho) the thing is how they will manage the rollout with the holiday season in between. It makes sense to release a single now and reveal the album to remind people that Lana's back (even though she never left) and then announce it with the preorder in January as another reminder when people are out of the Christmas mindset

"I won't tell you when it's out but I'll say something about the album on the 7th" doesn't really seem like she's revealing the date... she would have said "I'll tell you in a week" (or maybe she just wanted to keep being secretive about it). The most realistic thing would be a single and maybe the album title + cover with an announcement of the preorder. I'd be fine with that but maybe an album trailer to tease the preoder...

The only negative aspect of her revealing the cover on the 7th is that we may not get any single covers and she'll just use the album one so some of the (I hope) amazing visuals will be unused. Her single covers up until LFL (included) were so good That would also mean no potential selfie covers tho... so it's a gamble

I hope she posts the back cover too so we can see the tracklist. She didn't even post one for BB and we had to look through her store links that weren't even public yet

Maybe they'll update it with just the single like they did with LMLYLAW... The timeline is funky cause assuming the album it's out in February-March we are close enough for a preorder now but also far enough for a potential preorder early next year instead
