I'm getting very nervous for this album realizing we're gonna start hearing it any hour now. Come on, Taylor, take 7 years of heartbreak and turn it into one of the best albums yet. Pull a Lemonade. Pull a Melodrama. This has the emotional story behind it to be her best album yet. Don't let this be a dud

makes me really think how many songs from nfr actually started (or maybe has a recorded version with different producer) during list for life sessions i think the best bet is hope is a dangerous thing (that is not really likely) or maybe mariners apartment complex or bartender actually, we all believe it was done in 2017 post lfl times but did we really get any confirmation, also rick credits in happiness is a butterfly are also weird, those 4 songs are potentially from that time

exactly… cuz exactly the whole album got a complete turn at one point and comparing songs like lust for life and beautiful people to their original versions just makes it instantly clear there are also iterations for the album itself, and for the one that was released, final lust for life song was the natural choice, so i even love listening it from the perspective of how much she changed and how much she expressed it even on tracks that were initial depressing, and even tho the instrumental of final lfl is dark and dramatic she made it a lighter track with her voice, the whole list for life concept full circle

continuing to prove she’s been aging backwards this year I do agree it’s a warmer blonde, she’s just facing away from the sun so it seems darker. I love that hair color on her though, she looks so bright and glowy

I need to know what the album opening is like. And I also need to know if this album is going to capture me from the first second (like Red did, and "State of Grace" is still her best opener) or if I'm gonna need to sit with it for a while and find the deeper cuts (like I had to for folklore and Midnights - I'll admit the opening few tracks of those albums did not capture my attention; I started falling for folklore at "exile" and for Midnights with "You're On Your Own Kid")

it kinda just hit me today how close we are to release day  on this day next week i will finally have heard what florida!!! sounds like 

I’ve looked thru her other recent vinyl labels - none call out the producers of an individual song, so I think this means more than him being on just ONE song

Well that was a wild day. Onto week two of LANACHELLA

there are not from what his engineer said there were 13 songs and 9 they used, the rest 4 were money power glory and unleaked versions of guns and roses, pretty when you cry and i talk to jesus

Nah I still think the setlist sucked Even if it had just been switched around differently it would’ve been ok (not great but ok.) and I actually don’t even care that she plays ballads but it’s the SAME ballads she always plays. I don’t love cherry/pwyc for the same reason even though I like those songs. Also the ballads she plays are possibly the lowest tempo/least interesting production wise she could choose. Happiness is a Butterfly is a ballad, Yayo is a ballad, Bel Air is a ballad, White Dress is a ballad. But Bartender and Arcadia is the hill she dies on. Those songs aren’t hits, and I feel like she could bother switching them out once in a while lol. It didn’t bother me as much during her tour but everyone on her team was hyping this up as something super special.

The intro had me sooooooo hype. She looked incredible. It pretty quickly became difficult to remain interested in the performance however.
