The album is sonically, melodically, vocally and lyrically more interesting than chemtrails and banisters combined and tripled, it's amazing. The songs sound fresh, inspired and it really stands close to Norman.
 
That said, judas interlude... hard skip. Gave it one listen, then banished it from my library, ain't no white out-of-breath man gonna preach on my Lana album, ironic or not. Waste of a good instrumental.

So I've listened to the album twice now + the 3am tracks (WCS and Glitch really slapped) and I do love it, love the atmosphere, lyrics and her vocals. It's def way more relaxed compared to folklore & evermore.
 
Buttt, the chorus for Midnight Rain is LITERALLY the chorus of my tears ricochet, the lyrics of MTR fit perfectly in MS's instrumental/melody.
 
Also, cackle at Lana getting the HAIM, The Chicks and Colbie Callat treatment  it's a fab song so it's okay 
And this album is kinda giving me Ariana's positions vibes w/ the previous albums being much stronger/emotional, and these ones being lighter + more commercial, though Midnights is better lol

So yeah, it is very eclectic, some parts are giving me Volta, Medulla, Biophilia, Utopia and Vulnicura, though that's not a bad thing. Many many more listens ahead
 
Allow is sooo precious, I love it, Sorrowful Soil - brilliant, Fungal City - amazing. The melody for Ancestress's first chorus and the background vocals are so beautiful, they've been stuck in my mind since it came out. Atopos, Ovule and title track are all fantastic as well. Victimhood is very moody and Freefall is very pretty.
 
Though, I must say, I wish it were more the 'underground fungi' album as it was promised or, at least, that's how I expected it. It's neither too long or short, really pleased with it

Allow is the OG Dealer moment, it was too powerful to be included in the album it was meant for in the first place. 
 
Really though, the flute arrangement is like from a fairy tale, it builds up to something heavenly. Imagine if mjöther had put it on Utopia instead of Claimstaker/Paradisia right before Saint

The fact that Radiohead’s album won over Homogenic is homophobic
