i know a lot of people will trash the autotune on fishtail (as they did with tulsa jesus freak) but i think it's a pretty valid experimentation for lana. i'm all for trying new things: new producers, new techniques, new beats and i think this album as a whole suceeded a lot in that aspect

the fact that i was perfectly fine with waiting for the album until they leaked 3 songs 4 days ago and i was really convinced as we all were that whoever this was was about to leak the rest and ever since i have not been fine with waiting at all

I know better than to listen to the non-interlude songs with the Rosemead Exclusive tag cause the Rosemead Exclusive tag might grow on me and I'll start to miss its presence on the actual song like that deranged synth someone added to Dealer when it first leaked

I will not stand for this. FJM’s deep, sexy voice blends far better with Lana’s voice than someone like The Weeknd, and his high pitched, grating voice. I am incredibly excited for Let the Light In. 

The "Oh my God" at the beginning of the Jimmy part is so iconic and sexy 

it picked up and it sounded and it was some random girl singing high by the beach ☠️

feels a bit like a sister lyric to "I can't help but feel somewhat like my body marred my soul, handmade beauty sealed up by two man-made walls"
 
imo both touch on the same very real notion that society struggles to look beyond the surface level when it comes to a woman, women are reduced & diminished down to their anatomy as well as age n clothing choices & their basic humanity gets destroyed this process.
