  1. Pretty sure it's the Super 16 app. I have it too and I think she uses the premium filters lol
  2. I think we should spam her telling her to make a video lip syncing to Ocean Blvd, something very dramatic where she is cosplaying Lana
  3. Okay but why anyone good at editing has not posted her old album artworks in the style of Ocean Blvd yet?
  4. Can we talk about the moment where she was talking about the LFL trailer and then something like she was going to make a video of the last 2 years or make something out of the music videos she recorded in the last 2 years? She got distracted with a comment and then changed subjects ugh What she was saying was so interesting
  5. I was thinking the same. She was talking about getting drunk off tequila all the time. She also sort of said that it was legal for her to do so here at 16?! But the legal age for drinking has always been 18 here lmao
  6. the "LIZZY APAGA LA LUZ" moment was iconicccc I didn't know she lived those many months here in Spain. I wonder how much/what she learnt about Spanish culture omg... She said she was 16 so 2001? I would love to see her record a song in Spanish, either original or a cover
  7. FNAC France or any other shop from Europe is not selling the HMV vinyl with her on the John Deere right? That's where I bought the alt Chemtrails vinyl from
  8. Which confirms my theory that we are entering the third cycle of Lana's career BTD - UV - HM LFL - NFR - COTCC BB - ?? - ???
  9. You have to make sure that the file has info for "Artist" "song title" and "album title" for Spotify to detect it
  10. the entitlement and out of touch comments in this thread
  11. For Spanish speakers: This youtuber does amazing videos about Lana's albums and evolution as an artist. She explains the themes of Born To Die and Ultraviolence, among other things, and it made me realize things about songs that I have listening for years now... Highly recommend watching her videos! https://youtube.com/channel/UCnuNX_6HOM8PC7mOq1uqOWA
  12. The way she tells a story through her covers... she has been in a journey from BTD to NFR (as seen in the vehicles) and now she is just enjoying life with her family, friends and pets. The vehicles are a metaphor for confronting her fears and problems. BTD cover: outside the car - living an idle life, seeking escapism through a dangerous lifestyle, ignoring her problems UV: opens the car's door - gets ready to confront her fears and question many aspects of her life, kind of hits rock bottom in her mental stability Honeymoon: gets on the car - her most instropective record, she isolates herself from the rest of the world (seen in her being so tiny in the photograph and far from our point of view) to genuinely discover herself (another metaphor, she is in a truck for tourists) Lust For Life: gets out the car - she has learned many things about herself and overcome some problems, as seen in the smile NFR: gets on a boat with a man - now that she has overcome her problems, she is ready to invite other people into her life, seen in the man by her side and her inviting hand. She's still on a journey but a different one Chemtrails and Blue Banisters: she realizes how important her family and friends (including her pets) are for her, they are her support system (her banisters) [This is just a joke, although I agree on some points, but yeah just a reach for fun )
  13. Me too! Some comments in the comment section are very clever: there is one suggesting that she refers to America when she mentions her dad in Textbook. Also the banisters being painted blue then green and grey as a metaphor for bruises. Whether correct or not, these interpretations are very interesting. These songs have grown on me a lot, they are very strong lyrically and her vocals shine over all.
  14. The second verse of Purge The Poison does not aim at making a social criticism about how society treats mental illness, sexual abuse or feminism in depth, rather that it mentions different events that our society has gone through in the last 15 years to display how much we have changed/evolved (purging the poison) or how many things we have experienced in a short span of time. This feeling of social commotion is achieved through the repetition of different events one after another. There is room or it wouldn't make sense to go deeper about it. Purge The Poison is a song that depicts our society in general, the lyrics HAVE to be superficial for it.
