especially if you think that last year she was everybodys darling with NFR. She finally got the recognition by the gp that she deserved: grammy nomination, song of the decade and so on... and then came the infamous qfc, her blm posts and now this ridiculous mask

Welp The Independent have written an article about the situation now :

The fact that almost (ones that have more than two braincells) the entire fanbase agree collectively that she has gone 'n' fucked up should give Lana food for thought.

Honestly she so far removed from her fanbase rn its worrying. I'm finding it harder and harder to defend her actions or at least try to understand why she's acting a certain way. She use to be genuinely smart and unique. Now she's become a shell of her former self. A vapid, LA so called baddie, tryhard parody of what she use to be. I wonder how the younger version of herself would react on seeing what she has become BC sure as eggs are eggs she'd be disgusted.

I just don't understand why she's wearing this mask when we've seen her wear proper ones? And how could she think holding a signing in an indoor space was a good idea??

But thats not how it works. She isnt only putting herself at risk, but everybody else too.

Why was Chuck saying "she's standing 6 meters apart from them" but in fan selfies she's literally standing skin to skin with them

drag queens here in the UK have been doing covid-safe meet and greets - they clearly took the time to arrange them properly and take the pandemic into consideration, so lana i guess *could've* done this book signing / Q&A / M&G thing without as much backlash if she had just 1) worn a proper mask or kept enough distance that she didn't necessarily have to wear a mask (if that's a thing?? idk) 2) arranged this in the right way.

at drag meet and greets, they have a big table (at least 2 meters long) between the queen and the fan and they have to stand at one end while the queen stands at the other, and the security around the queens are VERY strict on this rule - they can still chat, look at each other and connect on a human level, but they're at a reasonably safe distance (idk how it is in other countries but here in the UK the rule is basically just "stay at least 2 meters apart") and they can still get a nice picture that doesn't actually look too awkward!

lana really fucked it with this one, man.

Omg she really is getting dragged on twitter? currently on number 1! She's losing all of her streams from other Fandoms and I gotta say she deserved it this time.

also the mask looks like this, they're obviously different designs and stuff but the structure looks exactly the same, i'm pretty sure there isn't a layer or anything beneath it  also says it's not meant to replace a standard cloth mask

The only good thing I can say is that I love her outfit and hair.

She looks like a really beautiful idiot.
