  1. Anyone know if her Canadian store usually updates with merch items?
  2. I thought I wrote this 💀 I’ve been ranting about this since April 2014 and I also still have the original iTunes purchased file from 2014 and only listen to it to this day. The album version’s vocals are too muffled and is just a sonic assassination of the Rob version.
  3. Girl these producers, mixing/mastering engineers and industry people use passwords like anal69 and never even heard of 2FA…
  4. @BlackoutZone another burning question which you may or may not answer. Do you know what songs she submitted for that Quentin Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2018-2019 that were rejected?
  5. Also do we know why in the hell did she randomly decide to remaster that awful song Come when you call me America in 2018? It couldn’t be seriously considered for NFR!… but then again her taste is questionable. Do we know if it was mastered to be released for some movie and then scrapped?
  6. she owns her masters so not happening
  7. Weird cause there’s absolutely no credit for a Mixing Engineer for West Coast unlike the other songs. Dan also released his version (Dan Auerbach Mix) on Soundcloud a few days after the release and it sounds very different from the album version. Also how dare you 💀 the Rob Orton mix is by far superior it’s not even close, I will die on this hill. I will never forgive her for not putting it on the album.
  8. Do you know how UV sounded before Dan’s involvement? Cause the only demos we have are Dan’s and we know she produced a lot of the songs herself with some help from Lee Foster and obviously the Rick produced original demos (Sad Girl, Shades of Cool…) That whole process is so interesting cause even just by looking at the UV credits you can tell a few things about the process. For example, West Coast (album version) is not even properly mixed, it’s just the exported bounce. Sad Girl uses the Rick demo vocals which means she discarded the vocal take she did with Dan…
  9. I’m curious about Watercolor Eyes. There seems to be contradicting info around it. I thought it was specifically reworked for Euphoria with Lana reusing the melody/lyrics from RCS/LYTAN but when interviewed, the Euphoria S2 music supervisor said they found the song while digging through unreleased songs from Interscope. So I figured they called Nasri to add some beats to it and then bought the rights for it. Can you tell us more about it? Like was the version we know today considered for BB as-is? Or was it an older song that was simply left unreleased and then they digged up for Euphoria? @BlackoutZone
  10. We actually knew that though. She said in a few interviews that she wrote/recorded LFL while she was mixing/mastering Honeymoon. Same with the Honeymoon title track, she wrote it (probably didn’t record it yet) around May-July 2014.
