they're still lana songs – i mean like the lyrics and melody and vocals are all legit, it's just the production that's not quite right.... so i feel like they aren't fake enough to be deleted unless you're really a purist and if you are a purist like that i am so sorry that fine china and your girl are tainted but personally i will not be deleting anything from my library

unrelated to whether or not she was a sex worker but i wouldn’t be surprised if she has been to strip clubs and similar establishments several times particularly in her lizzy days… she might’ve watched go go dancers strippers other similar shows and performances etc and been inspired by them for example she takes inspiration from this stripping scene from breakfast at tiffany’s — she basically samples it in mermaid motel and i would not put it past lizzy grant to go to some sort of show for fun and occasionally have a little audrey hepburn in breakfast at tiffany’s moment. the whole glitz and glam aspect would definitely appeal to her. plus she literally met dan auerbach at a strip club so i wouldn’t be surprised if she’s been to multiple strip clubs in her life maybe that helps explain why she’d be referencing it - she might not be the performer but just an admirer of the performance

this might be an unpopular opinion but even though the the lying and lack of “real” versions of songs is frustrating … i’d rather live in a world where we have fine china your girl and yth edited rather than nothing at all

so the two “honeymoon demos” are real ie. the james ford music mafia version and 3:31 STINT demo? and were they made intended for honeymoon? and all the other leaked versions are technically stem edits? also, are the vocals (particularly in the bridge) in the 3:31 STINT demo edited, or do they just sound like that?

tbh she doesn’t usually withhold album info like this, it all seems very intentional, i feel like she MUST have some sort of reveal plan for the tracklist?? maybe she wants it to be revealed with the release or maybe she wants to put it up it with the next single, i have faith that she’ll do something (i think )

now that you mention it i kind of hear it... but i feel like "i thought" makes more sense and i like it better plus lyrics are printed on the cotcc physicals and it says "i thought", her printed lyrics have been wrong before i think, but i think they're correct in this case.. hopefully ... although there is a typo in a different spot in the white dress lyrics LMFAO

i love the transition from burnt norton to religion — Footfalls echo in the memory Down the passage which we did not take Towards the door we never opened Into the rose-garden. to “Everything is fine now” etc there’s so much more there, but burnt norton really imparts so much meaning on honeymoon as a whole to me. it wouldn’t be the same without it in so many ways, and it’s a beautiful poem
