  3. i'm not sure any of this is helpful but – i think this is what she's saying in both spoken tracks layered... or at least 2 of them Yeah, maybe you should, like, merge this song, (I don't know, maybe we should do something like merge this song with wipeout) With that Dick Dale song? (You know that song?) The type of song where, like, the wipeout is playing? (That's like, ha ha!) You know it's like, the one that's like, wipeout! Wipeout! and this is the kind of song she's referencing and this is the last part with her interjections: Hands on your knees, I’m Angelina Jolie (Yes!) Hands on your knees, Angelina Jolie Lemme put my (yes!) hands on your knees, you can braid my hair Do a fat criss-cross (wipeout!) in the back somewhere (Really, really, really, really) (Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-doo-doo) (I'm in love) (Wipeout!) (Can you bring me...) [not sure what she's saying here] Hands on your knees, I’m Angelina Jolie (Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-doo-doo) Hands on your knees, Angelina Jolie Lemme put my hands on your knees, you can braid my hair Do a fat (wipeout!) criss-cross in the back somewhere etc
  4. can't wait for "surf noir interlude" on LDRX where she reads out this post
  5. no matter what i can't hear "sofa" in candy necklace... i always hear sittin' on the surf feelin' super suicidal like surf as in how waves form the nice line of foam when the waves break and its in the water but also when they come onto the shore... the surf! idk i dont live on the beach but also i didnt hear half the other lines people talk about until they were specifically pointed out to me so really what do i know... i hear things
  6. she has a whole highlight about lana, i think she’s been a fan for a loooooooooong time … maybe she even has a lanaboards account, hey bestie!
  7. exit is not just following ocean blvd and honeymoon but ALSO following queens anna cofone and pamela cochrane … and also lanaboards?? .. im not making the thread someone else do it! too scary
  8. anna cofone commented on neil’s exit post … maybe it is actually happening and i think he edited it to tag an exit photographer/interviewer who is a huge lana stan
  9. maybe you can inhale again actually … kaiman posted the photo on her story and tagged a photographer with exit … which is normal .. but she has a lyric from sweet in her bio … and then kaiman literally JUST deleted it! delusion always wins maybe not alt cover but maybe magazine
  10. i love the idea but also unfortunately kaiman collaborates with him on most of his projects and has for a long time (she models in his photography, does styling, drawing for lana, they might actually be in a relationship??? i can’t figure it out .. or just good friends ..) but anyways she’s basically always involved with his work lana related or not the mock-up you made though OMFGGGG it looks good … the world where that exists is the world i want to be in
  11. queen anna cofone is back in LA, i hope they shoot more of the candy necklace mv or are doing a photoshoot or something … because although anna cofone has an entire career as a hairstylist her being in LA HAS TO MEAN they’re doing something <3
  12. x VB having a different vocal take with different background vocals, so many hidden vocals too, and different production makes it new and special to me .. definitely an unconventional way to end an album but i love it and this! she’s almost saying she’s woken up from the dream she had in venice bitch, it was nice to imagine but now it’s over, and she’s gotten rid of the “give me hallmark one dream one life one lover” “we make it work” dream (literally, by not including it) and the production being rougher and darker mirrors the impossibility of this dream … or something like that 💀 anyways … get high drop acid
  13. the mention of a drive-by feels intentional as it's a really specific thing that she's only mentioned once before, so i think there is a cross-reference there... but their analysis of why aaron greene is k doesn't really make sense – i believe aaron greene actually passed away after (2007) she made songs for sirens (2005-2006)
  14. it’s true, but taking away comparison to any of her other albums, there still is SOME promo … i mean people were convinced she’d never tour again and now she’s doing shows my thought was just that she’s done more than what the expectations were — since the expectations were so low
  15. rich lee music video … listening parties … magazines and interviews … billboards/signs/posters irl … addition to streaming platform playlists … pop up shop … a festival tour … more than bb or chemtrails at least!
  16. i don’t see her doing a deluxe BUTTTT if she does unreleased in her shows … which i feel like COULD happen given their popularity and since she’s done that before … she would maybe do yes to heaven when she adds yes to heaven but sped up version to the set list and then only sings songs from btd and nfr …
  17. maybe she’ll do a taco truck x vb & venice bitch medley at her festival shows …
  18. if you scroll to the bottom of the webpage you can click on “themes” to bring up a drop-down menu of some options! other than those any other changes would probably require browser extensions
  19. that's possible! rising is based on time of birth though so if you don't know your time of birth it won't be accurate
  20. i'm not sure why it says that on genius since there's not really evidence she's talking about that specific mausoleum it's an interesting thought but if you google "rhode island mausoleum" it's the just first result to come up mausoleums are often the burial place of an entire family / group of family members, so i just interpret the lyric as contemplating familial deaths
  21. very vintage jazz and blues (co-produced by him, these are his tracks, i believe he's primarily a guitarist as he played guitar on candy necklace as well as helping to produce it)
