Miss her so much
So sick and twisted we lost her during a literal worldwide pandemic… seeing all of these festival lineups without her name just gives me such a gut wrenching, awful feeling. I’m sooooo incredibly appreciative I got to see her live at least once.

In case anyone is curious, the instrumental of Hacker ended up being reused for this song. I heard the leak and it took me like 5 minutes before I realized how I knew it was familiar.

Oh god it's so hard. I know a lot of people group things by the eras or the recording sessions songs were made in. A lot of people pin the songs to the album most closely released to the songs' genesis, etc.
I personally just....do my own thing. I look at what albums we know the songs are outtakes from, but then I look at how sonically they go together, lyrical quality, production, etc. So in some places, I've got a "B: Side" of the album, but then in others I've just got a lot of my own "albums".
Some of it is easy and clear (like the whole 'Sucker Punch' punk concept - all sounds the same, very British Rock, cohesive songs), and then some of it is sheer utter mess (literally 2015-2018/19 lmao oh my god there is JUST. SO. MUCH. SHIT.)
Some examples of what I've done. I need to actually redo some of it eventually because I've gotten HQ versions of some of the tracks over time and need to swap out the LQ versions.
I've got a lot of my own covers that I either made, or copied from other people and tweaked or cleaned up too. It's been a minute so I have no clue what I did or what I took from someone else and made my own or w/e.
Here's a link to Imgur with my screenshots and files: https://imgur.com/a/kQE2UiH
Here's also a link with the finished files as well as the .PSDs I used in photoshop for some of them for whomever/whatever: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vF_Hzcu4OY2zynd_J4bm1awJV98qtGt2/view?usp=sharing

i might be reading into this a but too much but like, ive been thinking about symbolism in the packaging of the ooepui vinyl. you have the standard album cover on the outside, which is like her expression to the world. then when you open it up you have the gatefold which has her laying down, a bit more exposed. but then you get to the poster and record sleeve which depicts her topless, the most vulnerable and open she has been so far, especially when juxtaposed with the product era and actively working to remain as obscure and unknown as she can be. i have no idea if this was her intent but i really want it to be because she would absolutely be the type of person to think about this and if that was her intent then its so beautiful looking at it all at once and seeing her become more comfortable with herself in the world

Japanese people wanna dance to Moonlight (demo) but Miranda is holding back the release and jamming the bluetooth so cars stopped working again. Miranda is against the upload of Moonlight (demo) because she is not a feature on it, and to be exact, nobody is a feature on it and that's why the gays want it. But Miranda can't have that. Miranda MUST be on it and until then the Japanese people cry out for a sneaky release of Moonlight (demo) on Krakenfiles because there Miranda can't F5 the recent uploads section and file a DMCA claim.
Please Dima, upload Moonlight (demo) for the gays so the Japanese can finally commute to work again and listen to music over bluetooth instead of on crackling vinyls!

I think something that has helped me cope with SOPHIE’s passing is how she viewed the world. She believed that life and existence was very fluid and not necessarily linear. Matter was just a medium to her. I hadn’t been able to listen to her up until recently because it’s honestly (and I know I’m so lucky to say this) the first major death that I’ve had to experience. I really actually love the fact that she did things like the sample pack to have a little bit of her legacy love on for years to come
