i get what you're saying, but lanaboards have been poking fun at other areas of the lana fandom for years, sometimes they say things that are just wrong/harmful (sexualizing lana, claiming she was a drug-addicted anorexic prostitute during the lizzy grant days) i feel like we should have the right to discuss these things

the fact that they can't even process the fact that song titles don't have to be something that's said in the song and it could just be a term that fits the song's meaning/vibe or something more abstract for something thought-provoking or artistic

I had a terrible relationship with my mother when I was a child and that set us apart forever. And it wasn't even real abuse (not compared with what I had seen over there), but it still was a very abusive relationship at a young age. I can't even remember my childhood because I had to repress everything to still have a relationship with my mother. My heart really stopped and my mouth got dry when she said that line. I hope no one burns her for that and that she receives lots of love

I do think it is sad to use your sexuality to sell. It just reinforces the idea that women are sexual objects in this society of consumerism.

she does what she wants and so do I. Our opinions differ obviously on that topic and that’s FINE. I will see her on tour and enjoy her amazing catalog. What she does is her business. What I think about it is my business and there is no harm expressing ourselves if we are being respectful.
