I think we can undoubtably say that Born To Die is a legendary debut album.

Imagine defending Dr. Puke! Now, I still listen to Era 1/Clarity and other Dr. Puke productions, because, well, they're some bops! However, we can't be out here upset that people don't want to support him.

ALSO: Lust For Life really gets a bad wrap with the fandom. This was a really ambitious record for her and it felt like she had some messages she really wanted to get across. There's a unifying feeling about the album that I really enjoy and makes for sweet listening.

Change is the essential song of the album to me, because it sort of encompasses everything I feel she was trying to do and say with the album.
I love how she completely changed Beautiful People from a song about suicide, to a song about empowering humanity - it really felt like a big warm hug to us for her to do that. It's inspiring tbh.
Plus Get Free too, there's another record where I feel like she was showcasing change and healing. I really appreciate the album a lot for these moments alone.

Also, Tomorrow Never Came is truly a beautiful song. It feels like a song from the 60s-70s in that, it's such a simple yet beautifully written song that could be from that era of music. The Sean Lennon feature was everything and a moment I'm sure for Lana herself! The chorus and bridge to this song is EVERYTHING. This song gives me chills tbh.

Then we have the songs on that album that feel like CLASSIC Lana, like Cherry, 13 Beaches, Heroin, and LOVE. Though Love is not well liked from what I've seen, it was a great lead for the album it's on, a very lighthearted single from Lana I think we all needed that at the time.

All in all, it gets a really bad wrap and I'm tired! It's one of her best works. AND COACHELLA IS NOT A BAD SONG, IT IS ACTUALLY REALLY BEAUTIFUL LET'S STOP THE HATE.

Some users saying they're "over it" just because Ben said "new music soon!" and nothing has been announced yet.  Like damn if that's all it takes! She released 2 albums last year, a poetry book, and she has an entire unreleased discography 5x bigger than her official one....have patience and stop complaining. Lana has a plan and knows what she's doing.

How has it outgrown the supply. She's released 7 14-16 track albums (with the except of COCC) in 9 years.  She has fed her fans. If anything, they're spoiled BECAUSE of the supply she's given.

She also doesn't need to put her unreleased music on streaming plats. A lot of those songs are already well known and have millions of views on YouTube. She doesn't care for popularity like that, plus we know her stance on her unreleased music being out there, even if she's performed them live on her own terms.

Lana is an ARTIST. Let's respect her! Some fans need to just go and appreciate the material that has already been released and leaked instead of being whiny and impatient. Let her finetune the record before y'all run to just complain about the new album and call it rushed and lazy.

Yes, it’s for Taylor’s album Midnights out the 22nd IIRC. Lana would never put Taylor on her album. Taylor is the GPs watered down generic Lana Lite!

I think it will be good. Taylor is a huge Lana fan and has mimicked her work. Plus it’s likely produced by Jack. It’ll be fine.
