Ok so this is definitely not going to happen but I feel like I need to say this. The vocals, the mindset and some of the production (especially the beginning of TB) give me very strong AKA vibes. She revisits her childhood and her daddy issues as well. The artwork also reminds me a bit of that era. This, the fact that it's been released in a group of 3, BoZ saying that she's revisiting old stuff, and her saying that she's going to tell her own story makes me wonder if this is going to be an album with different sections, portraying her feelings and mindset during each era of her life with matching production. Her working with Mike could mean they reproduce the vibe of her different albums with songs in groups of 3 in a big ol' album. I'm just reading this back and wow I've really gone off the rails. It's like my delusion became so strong it collapsed in on itself like a star and turned into something else... Something worse Please send help

I'm not really sure about the timeline of when COCC and these songs were made but afaik, this is the first music we've heard that was written after QFTC and covid. Although these songs share similarities with COCC, they feel like they're written from a different mindset with a lot more hurt. Every single line from these songs feels intentional and crafted. When listening I keep going back to hear each lyric because they're all thought provoking and conjure up a whole world of imagery. I didn't really get that with COCC because most of the songs felt quite repetitive and lacked a lot of conviction. If anything, TB, WW, and BB are lyrically closest to Hope. The vocals are much clearer and stronger, and the layering feels a lot cleaner. The piano has more of a presence and the synths create an ambience that I didn't get from COCC. I'm guessing that TB and BB were recorded towards the end of 2020? They feel subtly different to COCC, and WW, which was recorded this year, feels even more different. It seems that she's gradually moving away from her folky sound last year and now that she's working with Mike, I really hope that she'll try something new.

Nobody's asking her to sing about that stuff. When people ask for another album like BTD they just want something more lively and uptempo with bigger production. I really hope we can get something like that but with Lana's more recent writing style.

The only part that sounds like Yosemite imo is when she sings 'happy' and 'scared me' from 0:55. It's similar to 'we did it for the reasons'.

I was a bit disappointed when I heard the BB snippet because I was expecting something completely different from Mike Dean. According to Eclipse, Mike wasn't even involved with BB as a song we still don't know how their work will turn out. BoZ did say that Wildflower, the song we know Mike did work on, was the most beautiful and exciting of the ballads. I'm so excited Team delulu keeps winning
