  1. And to think, not too long ago, none of us knew that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd.
  2. Your taste ... absolutely immaculate. The power of a Delphine Seyrig profile pic...
  3. This is what people mean when they say they want a Bop from Lana.
  4. Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you — Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass Lana doesn't have time to wait for everyone to appreciate her. In 50 years this will look ridiculous, but she's once again way ahead of her time.
  5. Only if she sings "fuck me to death" uncensored and bankrupts CBS with the FCC fines.
  6. The SNL comment is heinous and shallow, but probably representative of how the industry still sees her. I'm just saying if you're getting your hopes up for AOTY you're setting yourself up for disappointment. The normies will never truly get Lana, and that's just the way it is. For me, I'm just hoping she finally gets a statue with the alternative music performance award, and I only care because I know it means a lot to her.
  7. Now that Lana is having a sane moment, looking back this era was truly unhinged. The selfie, Rock Candy Sweet June 1st, deactivating her instagram weeks before the album release, switching out high quality masters for Youtube rips, doing absolutely zero press, trying to make Arcadia a moment, the terrible trap interlude, by the way thanks for the shoo-oo-oo-oo-ooz, the list goes on and on. But underneath it all, it was a dry run for Ocean Blvd — the variety, the wildness, the dense lyrics: these were things built up over time. There's no Fingertips or Kintsugi or GPSOTSOMFWHDSF without the title track, Black Bathing Suit, or Wildflower Wildfire. Anyway point is Queen Lana does what she wants when she wants to, and even if you don't like one album, trust the process because she is always moving forward
  8. This war has for sure turned the tide against Israel permanently. The way that so many of my family and friends talk about this situation, even hardcore zionists, is so so different. Finally Palestinian oppression is no longer silent. It might take 50 years, it might take 100, but Palestine will be free, I know it in my soul.
  9. It was also nominated for the Grammy for best Pop Vocal Album.
  10. you know what, I wish someone had asked Casso not to be sad.
  11. Every time you type the word "bop" one of The Grants' souls goes to hell.
  12. 1. Off To The Races 2. Blue Banisters 3. Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd 4. Ultraviolence 5. Chemtrails Over The Country Club 6. American 7. Music To Watch Boys To 8. Mariners Apartment Complex 9. Lust For Life And I fucking love Mariner's Apartment Complex.
  13. Tbh I just want 12-16 brand new Lana songs I will take anything and say thank you.
  14. I might be insane but I keep hearing "It's like Camarillo only seven minutes running down the corridor" not "silver mirrors" in the live performances of this song. And there's definitely an "n" sound by a background singer in the studio version. Is there a real source for the lyrics to the title track?
  15. literally get the fuck off this website you clearly hate Lana and it is BORING.
  16. This whole project makes me so happy. Lana helped her dad make his debut album at 69 years old, it's just so sweet.
  17. omg imagine listening to this stunning voice and thinking Lana has vocal damage. high key embarrassing
  18. The lingering shot on Rob's wedding band was an interesting choice
  19. Oh there's definitely gonna be an unreleased album after these numbers. Her label will insist on it, I'm sure. And since it'll take no work from Lana, I don't think she'll object.
  20. This is like the music video equivalent of the spoken part in Peppers. Love it.
  21. the froggy came a-courtin' lyrics in Kintsugi are very bizarre.
