Seems like something that was done and released in time for Billies album release to make her look better and smarter and conscious and promote her album lmao. Cause I’ve listened to her music and….. what words lol I’m sure it was curated for her and the “words” she uses. Anyways… 

it's criminal how dolores' suffering and abuse and death has been misunderstood and exploited for an aesthetic  i still think it's outrageous the book was ever made into movies. 
and i keep wishing a flood of lana stans would create lyric/music videos etc with actual relevant imagery that supports lana's artistry. so, so sick of ppl associating lana with lolita imagery (an aestheticised fantasy created by a literal pedophile, humbert humbert)

at this point they're just making a lolita music video with "thunder" simply because it's a lana del rey song, it's literally the most RANDOM song they could've chosen because it has nothing to do with the book AT ALL  it's disappointing that lana's music is somewhat connected to this unfairly romanticised image of the "lolita" story because people view it as a forbidden, scandalous love story, instead of the harrowing piece of writing it actually is, all they see & care about is dolores' outfits in the movie & the "aesthetic" of it, with the heart-shaped sunglasses, etc. yet they don't even understand the story, it's gross
