Lust for life is such as mess, 13 beaches and beautiful people should have been on honeymoon they would shine there. And she should’ve done two separate albums, one for the middle part (coachella, gba, when the world was at war) and other for all the others tracks

The part of DTWD I agree so bad with you!! Like I always noticed how lana since lfl seems to give hints of what is comming next ( since get free for me is very close to what norman is, and songs like bartender really shares the theme with chemtrails ) so im hoping so bad for this song be de next hint that she want to give -

I wish soooo bad that she included everything at once that she scrapped from the album of the last shadow puppets. But im my opinion, I think she will only put 1 or few songs. She said that she didn’t relased cause it didn’t make sense and the whole body of work wasn’t that good for her YES JUST A FUCKING HINT -

I don’t think lana will ever make an EP again, Paradise only happened because the label asked her to put out more songs after Born To Die, it was like a commercial strategy. -

ok guys, I just wanna share a theory that I got myself thinking yesterday, what if chemtrails wasn't supposed to exist? Like, think about what was the first concept she announced to the next album after norman, she said on an interview that it would be an album with some guitars and would be called ''White Hot Forever'' (title track that we know as Tulsa Jesus Freak). And if you go back to that period she was simultaneously bringing ''Violet Bent Backwards Over Grass'' AND ''Iron Gates'' (I dont fucking remember the name), because you can see that between some videos of poems of violets she showed one of behind the iron gates (I think this is the name tbh idc). And when she talked about the second poetry book, she told that would be addressing less personal subjects (giving the controversial vibes). And if youre traumatized, I think you remember QFTC which wasn't just a random letter, she made it just like, violet poems pages, so maybe it was something that was not only her feelings but something that she wants to communicate with her art. So whats point of that? Maybe Rock Candy Sweet was the next album after norman and thats means that it's the leftovers of the original white hot forever. But why she would do that? I have two ideas to that: 1- it's very cliché, lana always change her mind, like she fucking kept on the vault a whole album with the last shadow puppets (like wtf) 2-Maybe she got it that it wasn't the right time to that after the way that the world reacted to QFTC (but i'm not sooo confident of this idea cause she almost dont give a fuck about anything) With that, maybe she made a new start (but not that new, and I'll explain why). Maybe she wasn't having a clearly next step at the time (since her first ''next step'' was scrapped after the end of relationship with sean and the situation of QFTC). So, she just got to studio with Jack and tried to creating something, that's why we see song as white dress coming so organic (even though she do this a lot in other albums, like change in lfl) and due to the lack of creativity for a point to start, she brought some unfinished demos that could lead to something. (Let Me Love You Like A Woman, from UV sessions, Wanderlust from NFR Sessions, Yosemite from LFL and Tulsa from WHF sessions)It's important to mention that the ''country vibes'' on chemtrails and maybe in her future album with nikki could've been stimulated at first by Jack! The proof is some songs that she created with him that wasn’t on norman but was showed by lana in the beginning of the era. (Hey Blue Baby & Stupid For Being So Happy). So that would explain why lana started to experimenting country on chemtrails and is still doing that with nikki at the moment, and it would explain why between ''country'' albums would be a rock one. (yes im supposing that rock candy sweet has some rock songs even though we don't have any hint to that right now). So the last question to conclude the theory, so do you think Rock Candy Sweet was all done before Chemtrails? No! Maybe after finishing Chemtrails she decided to turn back and make ''White Hot Forever'' happen, because it wouldn’t be so weird after chemtrails since she added some songs that can relate to a rock-ish album such as Tulsa Jesus Freak, Breaking Up Slowly, Dark But Just A Game ( In MY Opinion) and she still wanted to make her ''vengeance'' and thought that now is safe to do it. And the last proof to support this theory is that Rock Candy Sweet is Done and Jack is the producer (Lana's speech, not mine). So thats it! Be kind with me, because my only point was trying to guess what are we getting after chemtrails. And if there are any wrong argument, just quote it, i'm free to hear all the your thoughts. AND REMEMBER ITS JUST A THEORY. also, sorry if something is mispelled of anything like this, english is not my first language!! -
Yess!!!! It feels so welcoming, like presenting you something! Fresh laundry is a good opener too though.

I think between 2019 and 2020 many things happened in her life. She started her poetry, had a relationship with sean, the pandemic, she got again attacked by media. And she chose to make a safe move before she moves forward. Maybe in that time it was more harder to figure it out how to put her thoughts in one record, maybe there’s too much pain and rage and that’s why rcs would be her “vengeance”. And with this idea, before she actually do this she tried to keep on the bright side and brought the theme for cocc (something like i’ll be chilling with my girls and staying the same when everything around is changing) -

Tbh, I think we’re cursed again by a piano album with (maybe) louder guitars. And ngl, I think it’s not all Jack’s fault, every producer who worked with her say that she is always setting the pace with her body of art, so if we got 2 albums with similar instrumentals it’s most probably lana’s fault. Because Jack can do different things (just look at taylor’s discography since 1989). And thats just happened because lana didn’t wanted to move too much forward in her sound. It’s very clearly on the way she speaked about the album on the interviews. -
Yessss I think the same thing. This album is the kind of record that you just should on your own close to the nature and thats it. I can only see in her shows songs like, tulsa or white dress but all the other would fit in if it was on some kind of acoustic act, like what she did in 2016 with yayo playing guitar solo

I’d never touch white dress as opening and for free as the closure because I think it’s a perfect cycle, she start singing about when she was just a girl trying to pursue her dreams and fame and the album ends with a perspective of a person that it’s actually famous looking around other people who are trying to make their way to the fame in for free. Its soooo perfect it feels like she’s looking back again at white dress. Btw tulsa between let me love you and chemtrails seems a little bit off
