The song Ultraviolence with some different arrangements could easily become a country song tbh , like Patsy style country imo.

After listening to Jack's production on The Chicks album and some unreleased songs (I Must Be Stupid For Feeling So Happy. Prettiest Girl In Country Music), I i suddenly have a really good feeling about this. Are Lana and Jack about to change the game again?

 

if ‘lasso’ is also a song, idk why but i’m getting strong ‘the trio’ vibes from it. i don’t think it’ll be a plain guitar song, i’m getting trap western from the title specifically 
 
it makes sense because lana always has  unexpected tracks on her albums. dark but just a game & tulsa jesus freak on cocc, black bathing suit, dealer, and the trio on blue banisters, the trap songs at the end of ocean blvd. so even tho the album can mostly be folk/country i think there’ll def be something unexpected on there as usual.
 
also jack & lana always give us at least one legendary song…vb, white dress, and a&w are god tier. bb was mostly produced by drew and even tho i love it, i wouldn’t say it has an ‘epic’ song on it; bbs and iyldwm come close but those three jack & lana songs i mentioned are next level imo.

i love that

Literally. I’m hoping for more drama, Lana has always let her instrumentals play a big part in her story. Her voice almost seeming as more of the lead instrument in an orchestra, guiding you through the story. And I think ocean blvd as a whole was a huge signal that mother is bringing back the DRAMATICS! High end, thought provoking music video, amazing looks both on and off tour, and the return of a more detailed sound/ story. And she’s obviously ready for what’s to come next  I’d say where she is right now is a great marker for where she’s headed!
I feel that. One of my hot takes is you don’t have to stream an album 14 million times a day to appreciate it, so I try to pace my intake of each project so I don’t outgrow it😂😂
