It's really interesting how her whole career before this album was based on "daddy issues" and whatnot, at least that's how she was always perceived by the critics due to the lyrics in her songs, yet in the opening track on this record she says "i guess you could call it text book, i was looking for the father i wanted back" - and then proceeds to change the narrative of her story by explaning her mother issues, her very real issues behind the aesthetically pleasing curtain, and then on the final track she sings with her father and is strong enough to confront the real cause of her pain throughout the years

i literally never listen to her music but she got me excited for her return like i probs won't even like the song but i'm like omg adele love her

7.8 is a fair score for a 10 years later review considering that a lot of it sounds very of it’s time, which can be a good thing but Lolita, DMD, Million Dollar Man and maybe even NA just didn’t age well at all . NA demo >>

Last we heard, Rob’s favourite song was Florida Kilos, so, might I say, the man’s got taste!  Sweet Carolina is going to be a beautiful finale to a beautiful record.

I love that some of these tracks were recorded recently! It’s really cool to have Lana release songs in real time because it’s kind of a glimpse into her life as she’s experiencing it (as opposed to her songs just being reflective of her past, or released a year or two later, once her life looks a bit different)

@YourGirl666 requested this and I was thinking of doing something like that when the song leaked. Then @bigspender beat me to it and made their fabulous version, but I wanted to share mine anyways. It's less produced than big spender's, but let me know what you think! I basically only added drums here and there, as well as some harmonies and a small vinyl crack effect.

Omg I got the zip password right and all the tracks appeared and I died… but then… 

I hope it isn't either LOL. I'm running it through multiple programs atm but I've been able to see inside of it was a folder titled "blue banisters" and mp3 files with all the titles. I just haven't been able to open them yet. While iI'm hoping it didn't actually leak, I'm just saving you guys from a virus LOL.
