Based on the two singles and how BoZ described the album, the theme seems to be « what’s the worst that could happen to a girl who’s already hurt? »
So, I think the Grants will be about the « first hurt » and how it lead her to failed relationships (from the title track to A&W at least)

I agree, But BOZ said it's gorgeous and @Kintsugi said it's about "weddings and funerals", and Death is a mentioned theme in kintsugi song so maybe it will be repeated in other songs and the grants will set us up for something  

i feel like the grants will deep dive into her ancestry and lay out the groundwork for the rest of the album 

The grants better be absolutely stunning because I feel like the title track is such an obvious song to open the album with  

the haunting piano note, the strings, the deep breath, the question opening up the album about to take you on the journey of a lifetime

Sweet definitely makes me believe it's going to be Love Song 2.0 based on the credits and the descriptions and I'm so so happy!

the way this is our first 100% unknown album opener since… uv ? ever ? all of her other openers were singles and/or had live performances/snippets/descriptions 
 
we really don’t know anything besides vague insider comments about The Grants, the stakes are really high for this one 

Idk about y'all but I'm mostly intrigued by The Grants. She's always had great opening tracks. Text Book has been on repeat for days now

Taco Truck is clearly going to be her best closing track yet, I'm just excited for the middle section of the album the most 

This reminds me... Bartender and Change are SUCH good songs! Love them so much

So, Ellie Goulding’s album got pushed from March 24th (originally February 3rd) now to April 7th. She noted physical production delays as the reason, but I’m wondering if TAP just didn’t want two of their artists releasing the same day since Lana’s got pushed after Ellie’s and figured the Ellie fans could wait a little bit longer while the Lana fans would’ve gone feral with a third release date from a pushback
