So I thought it would be interesting to see what the titles of Lana's albums look like in your native languages! Here they are in Polish:

Urodzeni by umrzeć (Born To Die) - this directly translates to 'We Are/Were Born To Die' and if it were meant from a woman's perspective it would be 'Urodzona by umrzeć'
Raj (Paradise) - I really like this word. The 'j' is pronounced the same way as 'y' in 'yes'.
Ultraprzemoc (Ultraviolence) - not sure if this word exists in Polish but the word 'violence' translates to 'przemoc' so...
Miesiąc miodowy (Honeymoon) - this literally means 'honey month'
Żądza życia (Lust For Life) - pretty good direct translation here. Another word for 'lust' would be 'pragnienie'.
Norman Kurwa Rockwell! (NFR) - so... this is probably very wrong but 'kurwa' is the equivalent of 'fuck'
Smugi chemiczne nad ośrodkiem wypoczynkowym (COCC) - I couldn't find an equivalent of a 'country club' but I believe it's more or less a 'recreation centre'? I might be wrong lol
Niebieskie poręcze (Blue Banisters) - again, a nice direct translation here

The ending of The Grants reminds me so much of the ending of Coachella. Also the references to heaven kinda tie the two together for me. I am loving it as an album opener.

There isn't really much else for us to be that excited about in the pre release now. I mean we've gotten the three singles, we don't really care that much about snippets and little teases and reviews/opinions/insider information anymore. The next big thing is just the release date, unless the album leaks before then of course. Oh, and maybe we have this "surprise" thing to look forward to, but i'm not sure if that'll happen before the record comes out. I guess we could potentially get a music video or an album trailer before the 24th but i doubt it.

Next stop, the album release! 9 days ladies!

Hey!) I would like to share my covers of some of Lana's songs, I wanted to do this for a long time, but I was shy. So here it goes

I did a cover of Riverside but left a gap on Lana's part if anyone wants to duet.

I did a lil attempt of Yosemite! I've only listened to the album for about two days, so I don't know the songs really well enough (despite it pretty much being the only thing I've listened to since then heheh), but this song is pretty easy, anyway.

Lam, a New Yorker and self-taught musician, found her start in 2008 posting covers of popular songs on YouTube. What seemed like a simple hobby turned into a way to jumpstart a music career, earning her over 200K views total on her channel. The success of one video in particular led to Lam and a friend getting to meet One Direction, every 2010 teen’s dream. A few performances at Carnegie Hall and TEDxChelseaPark later, it was clear that music was her passion and her destiny.

Once she started college, she turned to songwriting and composition to give voice to her dreamy thoughts of wonder and escapism. Faerie was introduced to the world when Lam, now a college graduate, teamed up with Canadian producer Jonathan Atkins (wavcat) to release her first solo indie, synthpop single “Fever Dream.' Over 20 collaborations led to Lam meeting Atkins and releasing her debut EP, 2am (2021), which amassed over 20K streams. Described by Unclear Magazine as “futuristic and fun,” Faerie fuses bedroom pop and elements of dreamy indie music to craft her unique sound. The next phase of her journey took flight in 2021 when she joined forces with Los Angeles-based producer Matty Bedrosian (Yummm) for her highly-anticipated sophomore indie pop EP, dizzy spells. Headlined by the whimsical and groovy lead single “k-town,” the EP sees Lam experimenting with folk and psychedelic sounds, and is set to release in February 2023.

She is super talented and her latest EP 'dizzy spells' is gorgeous so if you like any of the songs above you will love the whole EP!

initially overlooked but has grown on me a lot and the fact that Lana has a song called Sad Girl is a nice little dig at those who say she's just that
