Is it really confirmed it will be the next single? It should be a promo single or a song to make buzz for the album tbh 

Charli has a song on the Mockingjay soundtrack. Let's give thanks to the good sis Lorde.

When she opened for Marina, she was at the merch table throughout the whole show! Unfortunately I did not know that and I missed her. I was so pissed. I had already seen Marina a year before that so Charli was a big reason I even went.

She didn't come out to meet fans the two times I saw her back when she was a flop so

I've heard from lots of random people online lately that she doesn't meet fans after shows anymore. Like, ever. What a shame.

Seeing her tonight! Hope she convinces me on the new album, even though considering we've already heard all of the tracks but 4, it's confirmed that the album won't be as good as True Romance. True Romance is still my favorite album of any artist though. This doesn't mean Sucker won't still be good!
 
Can anyone who's been let me know if it's worth staying after? @ @@heartbreakhigh did she meet fans after the show by the merch table or anything or is she too big for that now?

Even though I almost feel like the original hater, I feel bad for him :/ I can't stay mean to someone, especially since he's been very rational sounding lately (probably to win us back but whatever). I kind of thought we could move on from it last time, I'm sure we can move on from this if we talk about something else lol.

Is anyone on here going to her Philly or NYC show? This will be my 4th time seeing her live on Friday and I'm so nervous/excited to hear her new songs. I really wish that she'd sing What I Like but seeing the setlists I doubt that's going to happen. 

I wish I was seeing her tonight, she'd come out and be like "HELLO, CHARLOTTE!" and I would be like "HELLO, CHARLOTTE!"

Charli's performance last night was so great! All of the new songs sound amazing in person, but Famous is still my favorite of the new ones. I think my favorite song of the night was Stay Away. She sang with so much emotion it was so beautiful. Also, when Charli was soundchecking, they played the backing track/normal track? of Sucker and god it sounds sooo fucking good I took about a minute long video of Money, idk if anyone wants me to post it its kinda short so its probably not worth it....
 
It was actually so shocking the amount of people in there that didnt know the words to any of Charlis songs. The girl that was next to me on my right, who was directly in front of Charli's mic, didnt even know the words to Grins OR Lock You Up. Most of the crowd didnt know the words to anything but Boom Clap and Fancy either. So weird....
 
Anyways, sorry for the long post but everyone who is seeing Charli anytime soon should get excited! She put on a great show. Of course this was my first time seeing her live.... but in videos of her performing a while ago she would sometimes look very disconnected from the crowd. She definitely got way better with that! She engaged everyone and got people jumping. and side note pls dont kill me but Charli's choreography with her bassist and guitarist during Caught in the Middle is very cute.

@ dammit, I'm actually really into Hey QT now... I didn't understand it at first because you sent me the live version with the overly long intro, but the song itself is actually super cute, and I could tell from the production it was the same guy as Sophie. The bouncy synths remind me a lot of Bipp. And the whole "marketing" aspect of QT is really clever and interesting to me.
 
I wish the verses weren't quite so cringey though... The chorus is maybe the catchiest hook I've heard this year.

Oh my goddd i just met Charli! Her acoustic performance was sooo good even though she only did Boom Clap and Break The Rules. I was the only one in the room that knew the words to BTR lol.... The m&g was so rushed so I 'm sorry guys I didnt get to ask her about Mess but I asked her about the punk album and she said she still plans to release it somehow. Basically what shes said before and what we already knew .... Also she tweeted me that she was listening to the CD i made her aghhfjfjd im so happy. She was so sweet to me

They should throw us all in a house together and give us our own reality tv show tbh.

she's addressed her distaste for 14 more than once i think. some fans are second hand embarrassed by the album and don't want non-fans to get turned off if they happen to hear it. it's a smaller fan base. it's a way for not-that-hardcore fans to make hardcore fans feel kinda bad for enjoying it.

@@782anonymous the only thing I want to comment on is that saying if I download it when it leaks I won't buy it is totally untrue. I've bought every song Charli has made available for purchase... Even the ones I had already downloaded before she officially released them (I.e Boom Clap and Superlove). If she wants to release something that's leaked already, she can do so and I will buy it. But if something is out there, I'm going to listen to it whether she released it or not, because I love her music.

Extremely rude and ridiculous points. I just lost alllll respect for you.
 
It's creepy that many of us are completionists or like to be really organized? It's creepy that we want to meet someone who we admire so much on an artistic level? It's creepy that we want to collect records or posters or rare promo CDs of an artist who makes music that is so important to us?

The fact that you took the time to read this whole thread when you joined shows that you care about more than her tits and ass but yet you say that's the reason you want to see her live... I don't get it. I didn't even read this whole thread when I joined tbh and I was here a long time before you so it was a lot less reading. That's a lot of hours you've spent on Charli so it's a little hypocritical to call out other fans.
 
As for the sex thing, I think you are looking at it the wrong way. I am American but I am very sexually liberal. I am also a feminist... There is a difference between finding someone attractive and objectifying them. Talking about looking up a girl's skirt to see her panties is over the top and rude. That's an invasion of Charli's privacy. Like those people who fingered Iggy so she had to start wearing multiple layers of underwear. It's gross and not appreciated by female artists.
 
Songs about sex can be amazing, but vouyerism and obsessing over a fully clothed woman's body is just a bit much. Sexism and objectification are real things, and for now unfortunately, because almost every society started as a patriarchy and favors males, a straight male talking about Charli the way you do can be considered extremely sexist. She's not inviting those kinds of comments.

I actually pointed out her areolas like a year ago in a magazine shoot she did in like 2011. You just made it seem like "fuck this bitches shit music, i just want her on her knees, that's all she's good for". And your definition of creep was so fucking stupid, it's called being a fan. I'm sorry that most of us are 20 and don't have major responsibilities unlike yourself, who seems like he's 34 and supports a family of 6. Yet somehow you have time to mock people on an internet forum made specifically for an artist. What do you expect?
