Sweet sounds A LOT more like Arcadia than Beautiful . If we're comparing 2 strong female leads

Beautiful is over hated. The Picasso lyric is not that bad, and I gather what she means more or less; don't tell her how to be, she has agency over her feelings and knows what to do with them: make beautiful music.

i'll admit this would be a fun album and i'd probably love it and defend it tooth & nail, but it would also get kinda boring pretty fast. the best albums need a bit of mystique and poeticism to them. somwthing that takes a few listens to even grasp. like when i make unreleased collections, the ones of just fun upbeat songs go hard but aren't as fulfilling as the ones full of weird, raw & chaotic songs. and like every actual lana album including btd have stuff that are a little off beat and strange that take some time to fully understand and vibe with and that's what i love.

i hate when fans imply that whatevwr lana is doing musically is tied to whoevwr she's dating as if she doesn't have any thoughts or interests of her own. every music style she's done is influenced by a variety of music she's loved for years.

Today I'm manifesting some random cool weird shit:
Industrial metal album
Long form visual movie directed by Lana Del Rey
An album where each song had a long ass shocking bridge
Psychedelic jazz songs
Chaotic themes
90s trip hop vibes
Screaming
High quality crystal clear vocals
Honeymoon original concept disco album vibes
1920s NOIR JAZZY SULTRY ART DECO DAVID LYNCH VIBES

I would love an album with the sound of Terrence Loves You and Salvatore. Lana's enigmatic songs are always the best.
I think Candy Necklace is the closest thing she's done recently with that vibe.

The people that produced/worked on Candy Necklace & Let The Light In and throw some Rick Nowels songwriting/bridges in there.

Why do you care about the charts or promo or hit songs though. This isn't a race lol. Lana's music and how she wants to publish it is all about Lana, these are her wishes and we need to respect that. She isn't held hostage, don't worry about that.
also omfg i just found out that care and race are anagrams

Lana’s music is too weird for us people to hold/follow hope in having her on the charts nowadays…

Me too! They are just both songs that people were crazy about before they were released and then went mostly ignored when they were actually released.

The songs that song Rick did on NFR are the least listened to on that album. The majority of people also don’t seem to care that much about Yosemite or Cherry Blossom. Yes to Heaven was an outlier since it had already blown up on Tik Tok before it was even released, so it was kind of guaranteed to chart. It doesn’t matter what producer she works with, if her songs aren’t promoted and released at the beginning of a tracking week.
