Both good and safe songs but repeat them so many times that everything blends together. No heavenly experience of The Grants, no craziness of A&W, no insane lyrics of Fingertips, no campy bops like Peppers and Taco Truck x VB. Florida being the only obvious standout track. This album was so much better on the 1st listen, I don't know why.

    Now The Anthology though, on track 4 and the start is already way better and diverse. Hoping it stays that way.

    i like both candy necklace and fishtail. music taste is subjective. this entire comment is an opinion, not a fact, so to act like one cannot possibly like this album and be a lana fan is.. so strange.

    i've seen a lot of people comparing it to midnights, which i don't mind at all because i love that album (especially the 3 am edition), but i hope we get some variety with the aaron tracks. i've seen a lot of praise for guilty as sin and florida, so excited to here those :excited:

    i get what you mean (i'm waiting until friday to listen to anything), but this is the wrong forum to be trying to preach this. last march thing caused a huge controversy over tunnel and ended up really messy. leaks happen, people listen. fortunately it's mostly people who will be streaming anyway :whatever2:

    the production is some of her best ever, it really doesnt sound like midnights, and most of the lyrics are pretty good. theyre just unique and different from what she usually does.  

     

    okay thank you. i knew there would probably be some bias in here from the people who already don't like taylor so i'm only going to trust the ts thread regulars :legend:
