Didn’t she say in Vogue recently that 2 more songs will be out by the end of the year (I doubt it but I’d settle for 1) So that seems to mean she’s not looking at this year for the album now. From her recent comments she didn’t even seem completely sure what the sound would be yet. She keeps saying “I think” and “maybe” in regard to the sound of the album. I’m  sure the songs are probably all written but there seems to be a lot on work still to do on it. We should lower expectations for a 2024 release though

and tbh I like when she includes a cover on her album, so I’m not against that either (as long as it’s a new one and not just country roads tagged on) 

I might be in the minority here by COCC is actually a good album in terms of cohesion and theme  I would be more than happy for a COCC 2.0 if it means we get new songs

For an artist of her stature, reach, and means, her album covers and interior art are largely disappointing to me. She and her team are capable of so much visual creativity and conceptualization, but that all seems to come to a dead halt the moment the album visuals are considered. It's as if she's under a curse.
 
The visuals don't have to be complicated or 'high concept,' they just need to be aesthetically pleasing and hopefully reflect the tenor of the music the way the Ultraviolence graphics did. I don't think she's achieved this in some time. So if she were to produce album visuals for Lasso like her first three albums, with their wit, I'd be surprised. I tend to keep my expectations almost at 0 regarding her album art.

I'm wondering lots of people here wonder. You surely already heard of a "genie in a bottle" I guess? Most might also know the Aladdine movies!? That blue creature is called a genie (just various ways how to write on Latin letters), even though this kind of genie might be a bit different from the original meaning. But I guess the "insider" had indeed this wish-offering kind of genies in mind. 
 
I kept on repeating this but people don't listen/read 😅

A pity though we weren't allowed our 3 wishes. "Lasso now!" 😅 That genie wasn't very omnipotent unfortunately. 
 
Btw, as I said before, no one knows "Henry come on" is a song title and not just a line from the lyrics, so even if the genie-jinn is right that no song of this name is listed, it doesn't mean the song you want has been scrapped. Might just have another title. And the genie heard only 3 songs, not all. (3 songs heard instead of offering three wishes...!? 🤔😅)

haha Jins are the equivalent of ghosts in the arab world though they are seen as their own creatures who live in our world as well but we just don’t see them but they see us

Everyone wants an MV but since Doin' Time, nobody's really tuning in to watch lmao. Every MV flops, aside from Tough maybe, which also didn't do that great.
 
It's tragic that Candy Necklace has less than 5M views one year later. Meanwhile, Houdini got 156M even though it's just a rehash of Madonna's Hung Up with half the budget and even less creativity.
 
No wonder Lana (or Beyonce) isn't keen on doing them. It feels like the song nees to be radio-friendly and some ass shaking needs to happen for anyone to care.
