Hope you're keeping well and enjoying the run up to Spring! Here in the UK it feels like we've been due some sun for quite some time now, and we're finally getting it - I hope the weather is similarly pleasant for you down there in the grave!
 
I'm writing to you today to ask if it would be possible for you to remove the attached post. I would like to make it clear that nobody has pointed this post out to me - I came across it independently. With that in mind, there is no need to point fingers.
 
My reason for asking is that I am sure many of us find the content of the attached post disturbing. I, myself, am currently battling some pretty severe bouts of nausea and have recently developed quite a sensitive stomach; when I came across the attached post, I was instantly overcome with a feeling of sickness. I am keenly aware that many of our LanaBoards colleagues have their own struggles, particularly with mental health; my concern is that your suggestion - one which would not be unusual to Mrs Lana Del Dufrene, and one which she would likely be endeared to should she ever come across it, potentially making it a reality - may worsen symptoms of depression and anxiety in our colleagues, due entirely to its disturbing nature.
 
I am sure you created your post as a joke. But let me be clear: this is no laughing matter. Throughout her career, Lana has included sounds of her vape crackling, her voice mails, conversations with her friends and other extraneous soundbites in her music - I would not put it past her to also include something as intimate and, frankly, unsettling as you suggested. Heed my words: do not encourage her any more than she needs to be.

I want at least one of the songs on The Right Person Will Stay to have some unearthly sounds. Something like the first 18 seconds of Art Deco, those bubbly space synths which reminds me of Skype ringtone. Art Deco is one of her most unique songs in terms of production, when I heard this song for the first time I was flabbergasted. I need one of these moments for TRPWS.

eh she’s had shit album rollouts since Lust For Life, but yeah this one kinda is up there for the worst. We’ve had two dates promised to us now, and have only heard 30 seconds of a singular song. When the album does eventually come out, it’ll be our longest wait ever for a new album, but that’s not even the annoying part. I really thought after the almost flawless Ocean rollout that we were done with her bs, but she’s back on it. The only saving grace this pre-pre release (because IMO a pre release doesn’t even start until we have something with substance) is we’ve gotten a couple droplets (blue skies and tough) as well as some pretty good performances and that tour BTS footage. 
 
that said, I’m ready for her to remember about her job and start getting this ball rolling. 

I bet ldr11 is out not long after ldr10, cos surely she’s stacked up some material now 

My only suggestion is to find new fave acts. For four years, Lana was pretty much the only artist I listened to… and it made me miserable in the end. As productive as she is, she will never make enough music for people who only listen to her. It has helped me tremendously with my impatience of pre-releases, finding new artists to love.

The erosion of critical thinking from society means that many Americans will blindly follow him into the abyss
Utterly disrespectful and completely unbecoming  behaviour from a world leader
Rest of the world needs to get their shit together and start countering his bullshit in a meaningful way. If the US is going to behave like a rogue state, treat them like one.

I’m fine with this album being stripped back but if so the lyrics need to hit. I’m talking Diamonds and Rust, early Dylan, not “tell him that his cowgirl is gone go on and giddy up”
not that that’s particularly bad but a whole album of just aimless love songs with nothing to say will be a slog to listen through.
 
kind of like chemtrails, she was so insecure about it leading up and while i like the album it doesn’t really get at anything thematically like what are the chemtrails? You know?
