Omfg I'm a billion years late but I just listened to my first track of her (well I already heard Hands To Myself at the gym but that doesn't count), Same Old Love, and I'm DYING at how good it is I have no idea why I slept on her this long, I really didn't thought it would sound like this it's so so so good she has a very powerful voice
-
Omg ikr! I thought I was the only one I'm so glad I'm not! It may be part of why I like it haha. Except it's not good to me it's a full blown masterpiece lmao. I would be so happy if it was, honestly the odds are stacked in our favour because the story is the most continuous between those two songs than the rest left.

Thank you! That's 85% great news 15% not I really really like these bonus tracks, the production of Cake is mind blowing, I don't know why but I dig the grindind sound at the beginning. So now there's videos for Cry Baby, Dollhouse, Sippy Cup, Carousel, Soap, Training Wheels, and Pity Party right? OMFG I'm so excited about Tag You're It and Mad Hatter
-
I read somewhere that she's working on videos for each song on CB, is it true? Because I NEED, I mean I NEED a video for Play Date and Cake, and it means a lot because I don't like the thematics at all. I just need to know her vision on these songs. I've listened to the album on repeat since my last post and I now LOVE Pacify Her, Dollhouse and Milk And Cookies, and I definitely think that the ones I like the least are Alphabet Boy and Mrs Potato Head but I don't skip them when I listen to the full album. I don't get why Cake and Play Date are in the deluxe version, they're by far amongst my very favourite of hers. But at the same time the whole album is cohesive to a millimetre so it makes sense. I'm so sad to only see now that she's coming to London I could genuinely cry

In 2014 it's just Big Eyes and I can Fly but I don't like it I'm gonna make a soundtrack album, and in Extras it's things I collected but didn't knew where to put, there's a Daddy, Party Dress and Baby supercuts, the Cola farm remix, the Endless Summer tour moans compilation, a 50s supercut of her laugh and a 10min loop compilation of her laugh that I actually listened to several times lolol

I've been wanting to post these for ages. It's a work in progress, I'm still in the process of adding covers for each songs and some of these covers are obviously temporary. I class my albums by year, East Side is 2006 and earlier, Neon Trailer Motel Haven is 2007, Miss America 2008, Vulgar Darling 2009, Valentino Stars 2010, Diamond Killa 2011, Glamorous 2012, Black Champagne 2013, and I think I'm going to make a new album for Soundtracks because I don't like the fact that 2014 only has Big Eyes and I Can Fly. I never listen to the bootlegs, I just get everything there is. I count as unreleased everything that is not in the studio albums, even if they're actually released. Most of the covers are by Sam, Noah and me, I don't really care about consistency I just put what I like. I have 740 audio files in total, but that includes all the bootlegs, all the fanmade instrumentals, all the interviews and all the extras (stuff like supercuts and 10m of her laugh). In comparison, this is my folders, organized more specifically.

Gnghgnnhghg this is so funny she looks like she's having the most fun since she's born and he looks like he just got pegged by the guy with the glasses Edit: omg that was salty of me but still I'm just so happy to see her happy

No worries on the contrary!! I love to discover new music, especially american hip hop, since I'm French I mostly know French artists and I feel like I'm really lacking a big part of the culture. Omg you're so lucky to have seen him, although I did heard that his lives were a bit chaotic. I think that a lot of Vince's songs have the potential to go really viral but it may be a bit avant-guarde? Anyway if I heard Lift Me Up live I would probably blow up this song is so powerful. Blue Suede isn't my favourite, but I absolutely love the video, same for Señorita, it's incredible. That being said holy shit this Mick is fucking awesome. I love deep voices and his flow is so good and I love jazz inspired productions, I'm so happy you shared it thank you!! I'm going to listen to the whole album while working tomorrow it sounds so promising! My favs you showed are Jazz and Value Village I really need to listen to Kendrick I can't believe I haven't yet smh

The new king of rap, from Long Beach LA. He's a Crips gang member and he's hardcore. I can't stop listening to his tunes, his flow is excellent and it's so refreshing, I love the contrasts between living in LA and the actual real life. He's going to play at Ohana Beach festival too, dreaming of a pic with Lana I know this forum isn't too keen on hip hop but please give him a shot, there's such a special ambiance to his songs! Also if anyone knows which song the beat of Lift Me Up reminds you to PLEASE tell me I've been obsessing over it for like two months and I can't find it. Plus he's cute, definitely my current favourite rapper My favourites of him:

evilentity's covers-themed Lana Del Reydio show December 15
annedauphine replied to evilentity's topic in Lana Thoughts
I just finished it, I have no words, wow. This was the most interesting thing I've listened to in a way too long time. I wish I was there when it aired and I wish there was more! I've never paid much attention to Goodbye Kiss but hearing the explanation before, it really broke something in me, and it actually made me cry. I haven't cried on a lot of Lana songs weirdly enough (although I'll never forget the first time on Old Money) but wow this was really special. It's raining outside and I was just focused on listening to it looking through the window and I think this is this kind of moments that make me understand why I stan Lana more than anything I've stanned before. Thank you so much evilentity! I will definitely listen to it again. -
OMG LOL this makes me happy thank you!! Actually this is an old version and I remade it, this one's fonts are bad and it's spelt Mendes instead of Menzies but at least it's tagged! Please do you have a link to the post? I'd like to thank them and link my blog! Here it's only slightly different but at least it's spelt correctly

I'm listening for the first time (to my extreme surprise I didn't before???) and at 6:07 of the first part there is the name of a Japanese music website mentioned for whom Lana have done an interview and said she would fuck Elvis, @@evilentity please would it be possible to find the name of the website? English isn't my first language and I can't decipher what you said I'm sorry I want to read this interview so badly! Edit: holy fuck I always thought "we got a jumper" meant a sweater, a pullover hearing this was necessary thank you so much for it -
Ikr. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew but it was wrapped in plastic so I had to :/ I was so excited

I listened to Cry Baby a while ago and kind of appreciated it but not really, except for Mad Hatter that I immediately adored, and I already liked Sippy Cup Carousel and a bit Cry Baby so I wanted to give it another shot and r a w m e I'm SLAIN to my GRAVE. This album is EXCELLENT I have no idea why I didn't got into it at first, perhaps because I'm really not into these whole aesthetics and thematics (although I have a deep respect for how thorough the whole story is, it's just too dark for me I think) but who cares when the music is this good. The beginning of the amazing Pity Party reminds me of Marina's Lonely Hearts Club in the sense that it could have been one of the best pop songs ever but it falls flat after a few seconds. Jesus these first 15s tho, skinning me. So my favs for now are Mad Hatter, Tag You're It, Play Date, Carousel, Sippy Cup, and Cake, and from Melanie I also dig her cover of Britney's Toxic. Training Wheels, Soap and Cry Baby also are really nice. I'm still getting into the other songs but I think I'm about to buy it which is exceptional for me I only buy what I already absolutely love. I'm excited to hear the rest of her discography

Get into him he has some jewels
