Lana said she was working on a movie set in the 20's, she had meetings with Harvey Weinstein, the Great Gatsby is produced by the Weinstein cie and is set in the 20's. She has also said she wanted to focus on making music for films.
Sorry to break the mood or your hope but the chances that she's recording a new album are paper thin, to me at least.

Sigur Rós is an ambient/post-rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland, who have been active since 1994. Known for its ethereal sound, frontman Jónsi Birgisson's falsetto vocals, and the use of bowed guitar, the band's music is also noticeable for its incorporation of classical and minimalist aesthetic elements. Mystery film experiment project:
Sigur Rós have given a dozen film makers the same modest budget and asked them to create whatever comes into their head when they listen to songs from the band's new album valtari. the idea is to bypass the usual artistic approval process and allow people utmost creative freedom. among the filmmakers are Ramin Bahrani, Alma Har'el and John Cameron Mitchell.
