Lana should not announce albums this early

I keep thinking to myself. If it's anything like Blue Banisters, then maybe we might be getting something legendary. 

Been listening to some Tammy Wynette and puff I would love the love songs with a. Modern twist.

Gotta confess this country music discourse isn’t really my thing. Henry just needs to be released cus I literally have no idea how to keep this country music speak all lively.

what kind of beats do you expect from Lana’s version of country?

To be fair, Lana is quite shy/introverted and we didn’t really see her moving around much to interact with others during the ceremony. She probably just wanted to stay seated and keep to herself. Also, Joni’s performance was right after Lana lost SOTY and by the end of the night after Lana lost AOTY too, she probably just wanted to get out of there since the whole experience was probably overwhelming for her, even if she did enjoy it. + meeting your idol/inspiration can also be intimidating - when I ran into Lana at the mall, there was almost a moment where I wasn’t going to approach her because I was so nervous and didn’t want to bother her. Of course in the end I did end up speaking to her, and perhaps Lana did speak to Joni too but they just weren’t photographed. I hope they did interact though since Joni is such a big inspiration to Lana! x

Oh thank god someone else caught onto this. When I first saw her post I was mystified that she chose that moment to sentimentally highlight, and then I turned on the sound and laughed out loud. It says so much about how she actually sees through the bullshit (at least in retrospect). 

I think she should piggyback off the hype from this past week and introduce the world to Henry

I don't want a half-originals, half-covers album. If she has to, then make it a double record - one album originals, one album covers. 

Viewership was apparently up 34% from last year's Grammys I wonder why. Couldn't be because of Lana's enormous fanbase no has to be something else. Makes me happy that she won all those Grammys cuz if she hadn't then I might've thought she was just being used for ratings 🥰

Country was definitely coming—next manifestation needs to be full on jazz. I’m here for the country album though. She never disappoints and always makes something her own so I know it will be very Lana lol. 
 
thinking about the release date I think/hope we are good. She said they’ve been working on this for 4 years. So I would think most of it is done and maybe over the last few months has been wrapping it up. So in essence should be ready to press now or next couple of months for the September release. Fingers crossed. 

I really do think this is one of the greatest albums of all time, and it's legacy will grow tremendously as time passes. She pulled off such a complex vision so beautifully. It is an extremely thought provoking and profound album, while also managing to be fun, thrilling, and full of surprises. A tour de force 

I’ve been listening to Let The Light In on repeat all night and woke up this morning doing the same. So far I’m two hours in this morning— send help!
 
another note, our favorite grammy nominated album becomes a winner today. 

At the end of the Day Lana's continued success, influence and noted inspiration from current artists means more than any award decided via internal politics.
 
It's kinda more iconic at this point to be regarded as an artist who has been so unjustly shut out by such erroneous or conspiratory decisions because her impact and artistry cannot be denied than to be any old hack with 1 Grammy to their name.
That video she posted years back about being behind a brick wall and talent comes to mind.

All of this… and it was really really well written btw. Honestly wish I could share to socials lol  because you lay it out! Fuck the industry and the people who don’t get her honestly. She’s a legend, a true legacy artist, one in a million. There’s nobody like her in our generation and there won’t be again. 

I read the bow for her hair was custom made so I don’t think this was a last minute decision.
