Y’all, today I had the beautiful experience to listen to Cinnamon Girl in my brother in laws car with him driving, me in the passenger seat and my bf in the back, also who thought it was a good idea to make 2 door cars.. I hate them... anyway, so he turned up the volume, windows down, with the breeze blowing in and whewww it was an experience. It felt so good omg, a feeling I will not forget anytime soon. I then went to play California, but my freaking bf said to play “Doin Time” because it’s more upbeat I guess? And his brother who isn’t a Lana fan, I mean he knows her, likes a few songs here and there. But probably wouldn’t listen to her on his own, the way he’s stanned “Doin Time” like he was asking so many questions about it lol. Anyway he also liked Cinnamon Girl. Particularly the lime about pills because he loves his opioids and it’s the big reason why his girl left him... it got him in his feels but he loved it too. Wow. The way the GP is stanning these songs. I’m glad she included “Doin Time” on the album, and not going to lie... it sounded really good in his car. I haven’t had the chance to listen to the whole album in my own car yet because I don’t have the physical and my damn AUX input fucked up due to me stomping on it every time my fat ass gets out of the car so it messed up

Omg, I love that too lol. That song is gorgeous in its entirety, but small details like that elevate it for sure. i haven't had a chance to go out and buy my physical copy. So I’ve been streaming like crazy on Spotify, and I normally am not a big fan of Spotify, but anything for Queen Lana.

I really enjoy Doin Time even more now. I’m not sure if it’s because of the video or if it’s because IMO, it fits perfectly I’m with the rest of the album. Also TNBAR is really one of the best songs on the album tbh. And a lot of reviews that I’ve been watching get instantly scalped by it. After spending a few days listening to the album non stop lol. Here are my ratings so far;  1. Norman ****ing Rockwell 9/10... may become a 10. 2. Mariners Apartment Complex 10/10 3. Venice Bitch 10/10 4. **** it, I Love You 10/10 5. Doin Time 10/10 6. I can’t get over how amazing her vocals sound on the title track... they’re just as good as her vocals on HM. That song has grown to be one of my faves after the official release. During the time I was listening to the HQ leak I considered it one of the weaker songs on the album, but boy was I wrong.

The album cover/artwork looks so good inside the jewel case... ugh I cannot wait to go and purchase my very own copy later on today ^_^ also that lime green vinyl looks so pretty, just not a huge fan of the repeated tile like cover. I feel like they just got lazy lol. They could have done so much more with it.

Omg, you’re right. I completely forgot that she did react to those 2 songs and she did seem to not enjoy them as much... fluff, but let’s hope she does, and maybe after listening to those 2 songs this time around in the context of the whole album she will enjoy them much more, but it could go either way and the good thing is that she will be honest about it. I’ve been searching up some reactions for the album, and so far the people that have posted videos are terrible lol. I can’t even watch them for more than a few minutes before moving on to something else lol.

I know! I’m anticipating her reaction so much, sis needs to hurry up and do it already lol. Her reaction to LFL was pretty darn great. Especially when she became super emotional during “Love” sis was crying lol.

Lmao, I never understand people that say that all her songs/albums sound the same. Maybe certain songs from the same album have a similar vibe/style. But apart from that all her albums sound completely different from each other. Idk maybe it’s because we listen more carefully and we’re used to her style and etc. it’s like when I first started listening to Bone Thugs, at first I could not understand one word that they rapped due to their fast rapping style, but I was so obsessed with them and would listen to them so much that as time passed I became used to their flow and I was able to understand everything and even would try to “rap” along, I had people ask me how in the world was I able to decipher their lyrics and be able to understand and keep up with their fast style. I told them that after a while I guess you get used to it and it starts to sound normal lol.

I kind of want to put it somewhere towards the ending if I do. Not sure yet tho lol.
