My friend just informed me that Fall Out Boy has an album coming out in September and they already have the cover art and a single. At least our situation isn't that bad.

Born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, 20-year-old singer/songwriter Amy Peters is better known as Nashville’s next “pop princess”. Inspired by artists such as Shania Twain, Amy Grant, and The 1975, Amy’s unique blend of pop melodies and honest lyrics have struck a chord with audiences all across the country. Amy recorded her first original song at age seven, and spent her early years in the studio learning how to produce her own tracks. While still in high school, she released a self-produced EP titled Based On A True Story. Amy moved to Nashville in 2014, signed with SESAC, and went on to study studio recording as the only female in her class at McBride’s intensive program, The Blackbird Academy. Amy has performed at various festivals across the east coast, but can most often be found playing around Nashville at venues such as the Listening Room, 3rd and Lindsley, and the Bluebird Cafe. Her songwriting has earned her recognition across the globe — her song “Jesus and Shania” was selected as a finalist in the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest, and she has had multiple tracks in the Nashville Songwriters Association International Top 40 quarterly lists [from Amy's website].
