I think there’s some debate over how much of Garden of Shadows was written by VC, and the ghostwriter has confirmed that he wrote almost all of it based on some really early outlines VC left. I started it and could tell a difference I didn’t like, so I ditched it, but don’t let that stop you from trying it out!! And, I’m pretty sure her ghostwriter had the permission of the family/publisher to keep up the VC Andrews brand by writing under her name, but he’s still cranking out new series and sequels constantly, and I can’t help but think there’s a dip in quality just so they can keep making money ://///

LOVE these books They manage to be over-the-top gothic soap opera fodder without losing any emotional punch, which is a pretty amazing feat, imo. My Sweet Audrina is an amazing standalone novel by Andrews that I love more than Flowers in the Attic some days — you should check it out if you like this series! Be careful, though, because anything besides the first four Flowers books, My Sweet Audrina, and the first two Heaven books are by a ghostwriter working under Andrews’ name, and they’re not nearly as balanced and good as the stuff she wrote :/

Assuming that 'fan behavior' means constant positivity for the artist you're a fan of is unrealistic. We're not going to all appreciate what Lana does artistically or personally, especially when her choices -- such as dating Larkin -- are building up institutions that clash directly with a lot of people represented in this fanbase. It's not wrong to express feelings on that.

Don't even start with this. This is a discussion forum, and Lana's personal life is not off-limits -- especially after, in this interview, her relationship has been acknowledged AND she's stated that she participates in and therefore understands a desire to dig into a favorite celebrity's personal world.

I don’t think anyone is expecting fans to stay silent throughout, but I think there’s definitely concert etiquette not being followed. That is, there’s appropriate times to scream and sing, and a quieter, intimate acapella song Lana’s doing for your show specifically isn’t it. I can’t imagine that they’re even able to enjoy that moment for what it is when they’re so focused on being heard as opposed to listening

Does anyone have a copy of her "The Audition" album? I can't find any downloads online, and finding one of the 500 (!!!) copies is a pipe dream lmao
