sparklrtrailrheaven liked a post in a topic by longtimeman in Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzy Grant - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Happy birthday AKA aka LDR!
I'd be happy with a straight reissue with the original cover, maybe some nice liner notes written by one of our resident Lizzy experts, and some vintage photos.

I genuinely want to ask, without getting attacked by stans who hate anything post-Norman, why do people on this forum hate Margaret? From the beginning it was one of my top favorite Ocean Blvd songs, and then I learned it was ranked as one of the worst by most people. Lana sounds lovely, the lyrics are really good (and serve as the yang to Paris Texas' yin), it's a great post-rock / dream pop song. It sounds waltzy without even being 3/4. And it's one of the only happily romantic Lana songs.
And I know this is actually unpopular, but I absolutely love Jack's verse.
Also the chemistry between them is amazing.

Are more sites using bad AI to interpret lyrics? I thought I was going crazy when Amazon Music claimed it was:
I know the roses, I’ve counted so
The official lyrics make more sense and now I don’t feel stupid anymore lol I was questioning life for a second.
Idol of roses, iconic soul - Official
They do kinda sound similar…

okay sending titles that im not sure in that they are real
C U L8r Alligator — Playboy (most likely a fake title)
Coca Cola (previously known as My Song 57) — Trailer Park Queen (absolutely dont know where did this iteration come from, the only source for this title is lanapedia)
Resistance — True Love (It Comes Once)
Summer of Sam — B-A-D-D-E-S-T (never saw anyone confirmed it to be fake)
Go Go Dancer — Queen of the Night (absolutely dont know where did this iteration come from, the only source for this title is lanapedia)
Kinda Outta Luck! (with ! mark) (absolutely dont know where did this iteration come from, the only source for this title is lanapedia)
Hey Lolita Hey — Lolyta (was seen on one torent, someone speculated it coulld be a real title for the first lolita version, someone assume it's just a typo)
Motel 6 — Seven Eleven (many confiting stories, someone said it was the first name for Diet Mountain Dew Demo, someone said it was Motel 6 alt title, someone speculated it to be an entire different song)
Noir — Hollywood Noir (hard rumored to be a real alt title for noir, not a new song)
She's Not Me — Ride or Die/Ride or Die Bitch (said to be just captions under the leak when the song elaked back in 2012, not actual alt titles)
Tired of Singing the Blues — I'm Fucked
True Love on the Side — Love on the Side
Beautiful Player — Hit with a Kiss
Daytona Meth Alt Version — Hollywood Movie (dont know where did it come from but i think its real)
Ruby Tuesday — Tuesday (some conflitcing stories with this one, could be considered as alt title for ruby tuesday, but then the scrobbled length is 3:06)
all the rest titles i have were confirmed to be real

if lana had self produced this album (aside from vocal/musical collaborations)- what differences do you think it would have made?
we would have never seen the beauty that is A&W, but I desperately want to know what lanas preferred writing style is these days. would the album be more like the last 4 songs? would it be more stripped back? would zodiac have made it . seriously though, id love to know what direction she would go in without someones influence!
if any insiders have some bts knowledge of this I would lluuuuurrrve to know

i love Lana’s themes, she really paints a picture with her words. shes so creative and poetic!
my favorite symbol would probably be deserts (cherry and keylime pies, icees, sodas, soft icecream, etc).
they portray an image of innocence and sweetness.

I think it just reads differently because that’s Lana discussing her past & sexuality on her own terms, versus a bunch of strangers debating it on a public forum. Not saying this conversation absolutely shouldn’t happen, especially because we’re people who consider ourselves fans and allies, but it’s complicated! I think it’s healthy to have some boundaries and maybe even a certain level of discomfort when digging into intimate parts of LDR or any other celebrities’ lives, esp. when it continues to be normalized to a scary extent on the internet.
That she’s willing to tackle it in her music certainly opens up the conversation, but shouldn’t equal full reign to turn her story into total fan gossip fodder. The lines can be crazy blurry, but luckily I feel like most people on LB try hard to walk the line of curiosity as opposed to invasion of privacy
