I think she just is/was one of those persons that think too much, which generally can lead to depression and isolation. She studied philosophy, it’s hard to question everything you thought you knew. In Pawn Shop Blues she mentions that’s she’s looking for wisdom. This shines through in her work, she’s obsessed with poetry. She’s definitely been depressed, but I think it’s a different kind of depression than Barrie, that’s why she found it so hard to deal.

You Americans need to go back and learn ur own history and where tax dollars are going.

    - Since 1985, the U.S. has provided nearly $150 billion in bilateral aid to Israel, mostly in the form of military assistance. This military aid helps enable and sustain Israel's military capabilities and operations.
    - This long-standing U.S. support for Israel has been criticized by some as enabling the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and the continued building of settlements considered illegal under international law.
    - U.S. military aid and arms sales to Israel also enable and perpetuate the conflict with Palestinians, rather than promote peace. This contradicts the stance that the U.S. is an unbiased mediator in the conflict.
    - Financial aid given to Israel is sometimes considered excessive given Israel's status as a developed country with a strong economy. The U.S. gives no military aid and less financial aid to the Palestinian Authority.
    - Thanking the U.S. President for supporting Israel through major aid packages and arms sales is questionable when this long-standing policy has failed to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and may contribute to perpetuating it.

This is why its not ok to sign the stupid zionist letter.

Israel needs to stop existing. Palestine must come together under a secular, socialist flag.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

Yeah this is really exposing a lot.
I can only hope Lana is indeed feeling stupid, but to me it looks like she's just paying no attention since the letter. I hope pro-Palestine attention keeps increasing so it hits her when she notices again.

+ US voted against letting humanitarian aid into Gaza. As a member of the Security Councel of the UN, this means the entire motion got rejected.

also I'm still unsure if Lana's signing of the letter was actually malicious or if it was just misled/misinformed so I won't say anything about her or any of the other celebrities, but js if you support anyone who is openly Zionist, you're not just supporting "someone with different political views," you are supporting someone who condones murder, islamophobia, and racism. and if they actually give money to the "cause" and don't just spout shit, you are giving money to war criminals every time you listen to their music or buy their merch

correct me if I'm wrong but isn't every single Israeli citizen required to do at least one year of mandatory military service? they haven't had any military conflicts aside from with Palestine, so if you are an Israeli citizen (unless you chose to be arrested instead) you were directly involved in and contributed to genocide for a year at minimum. if this is true, I have no sympathy for any Israeli person over the age of 18

i am happy to notice more and more Americans speak against IsraHELL. I truly didn’t expect such an overwhelming support.

Everyone is one click away from informations. In an-easy-access-to-information era, ignorance is a choice and Lana made hers. She absolutely has no excuse.

"The US, Israel’s staunchest ally, last week vetoed a resolution backed by 12 other members of the council, which would have called for a pause in fighting, because it did not do enough to stress Israel’s right to self-defence.

An earlier Russian-drafted resolution was also rejected.
Nearly 90 countries were on the speakers’ list for Tuesday’s debate including about 30 foreign ministers and deputy ministers, with many echoing calls for a ceasefire and a halt to attacks on Palestinian civilians amid widespread destruction in Gaza and the mounting death toll.
“We followed with regret the inability of this council twice to adopt a resolution or even to call for a ceasefire to end this war,” said Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.

Let me break it down for you. There was a vote for/against the ceasefire, aka for the genocide to stop or not.

The US voted against ceasefire. All other countries (or the majority, can't remember) voted for it to end.

Thanking Biden for what he's doing right now is like giving Hitler a thumbs up. All clear now?

All the people online acting like Lana is a victim While I do agree she was most likely uneducated about this, she is a grown woman and the public has a right to react when she does something, especially dealing with such a horrible situation.

Nah signing a letter that praises a senile, demented kid sniffer who funnels our tax dollars to blow up children around the world is unhinged.
