That only bothered me in HTD and maybe the verses in HiaB. I thought the volume of the vocals were tooo low compared to the chorus, it's weird

Y’all are still having this Kanye argument? Kanye’s a legend, one of the greatest artists of this generation, one of the most influential artists, and he became very blind in regards to social issues and started supporting Trump and made all these crazy comments, and that’s exactly why she namedropped him. It wasn’t “shade” or a “diss”. She was singing about how everything’s turning out and everything that’s basically going wrong like how LA’s in flames and how one of the greatest artists of this generation has basically lost it. Like she mentioned in that one insta comment, Kanye supporting trump and wearing a MAGA hat is a loss for the culture, and that’s what the song’s basically about.

 

Also she is not romanticizing that Trump supporting beach boys member. She didn’t even mention him. She mentions how she “misses the bar the beach boys used to go to” and then proceeded to reference Dennis’ death.

Umm..this is easily her best album. It's so cohesive and focused. Jack was an amazing producer choice. Expecting an 80+ on metacritic and a "best new music" on Pitchfork  Every song is so memorable too
