I don't think we'll get anything until the album release. Like no cover, no tracklists, no singles, no interviews... she'll just drop the album on september 4th (if that's the real release date) and will be like "here's the album fam xo" and will disappear for another five months until she can tour again.

tbh i hope she says absolutely nothing about the album like not even a mention n then just drops it sept 4. i feel like we’d appreciate it more if we fully expect its not coming

I miss when she would go on ig live around lfl I hope she’ll do that when we start getting more info about the album, or at least after it comes out to discuss the songs etc and get feedback or something idk. I have a feeling she’s probably hesitant to interact w us like that bc of her ig mess like her comments will just be flooded w hate/criticism :/ but I miss her. She could at least post on honeymoon

All I need is some kind of solid proof that it’s coming on the 4th/5th and then I’ll be ok with the wait. I tell myself it’s probably not coming then, but I know if she says nothing all this time and then that weekend passes and nothing happens I’ll still be mega disappointed.

I expect nothing over the Fourth of July weekend, except maybe a selfie with the American flag and a picture with her friends. Next week could be nice for a « peak » of COCC. Maybe this is why I’d like a single At some point, to have confirmation it’s really coming Sept 4-5. Or maybe no single at all, just the cover of it, with the date as caption.

After talking with @ about the album cover in this thread, I was inspired to make another edit (the quarantine is getting to me - can you tell?)!

I thought it'd be cool to have a painted cover that incorporated elements of the Paradise cover, Slim Aarons, and Lana's new look.

i’ve been saying this for months. she said she wanted to surprise drop the record but with the title and date out now, it seems like when she said that, she meant nothing before the album but the title and date
