Honest though I am SO disappointed with that mask. I don't care if I catch hands, even if they were social distancing and she wasn't going to get closer to the fans and she had tested negative or whatever else, it just still feels so unnecessarily controversial and y'all can tell me it's just aesthetics, it bothers the hell out of me.

I think it's pretty clear that Lala won't do what anyone advises, including the US health department, so Chunk had no say in the matter and no choice but to try and put out the fire.

ETA: Also Chunk's gf thinks everyone should be able to just do whatever they want with no restrictions, so to a certain extent Chunk must agree

nah sorry babe that is not going to cut it. It's obnoxious behaviour. We know that cloth masks are mostly worn to protect others but even if she had tested negative, she knew this was going to start a mess, yet she decided to go on and let it be the focus instead of the book.

On a separate note, testing negative does very little in terms of prevention, unless she had tested negative on the same day and hadn't been around people 3 to 4 days prior. Both nose swab tests and blood tests can come out negative up to 4 days after being infected so that's that. I am so bothered by the whole thing right now seriously.

It's December 10 or January 7 according to Lala, but she's the least trustworthy of them all when it comes to dates.
