Swan Song. It’s on my album Honeymoon. It’s the antithesis of hopefulness. It’s about trying to find beauty in giving up. If I had my way, I would continue to persist in all areas of my life, but it can be quite challenging because I can be too trusting too soon.":sadcore2:

Something like: killing me softly with his song (cover by fugees) + dreams (FM) + more than a woman (bee gees) + the air i breathe (the hollies) + because the night (patti smith) + alison (slowdive) album. :ma:

she should just forget about NFR. I wish her to do an album like Honeymoon again. With influences from Lust for Life and Ultraviolence.

I need more songs like Blackest Day, Art Deco, Religion, Heroin, Shades of Cool, 13 Beaches, West Coast ...

I also want some mystical elements.
Please no more piano ballads

its not simple its trigonometry on We Heart It

I would personally love a truly piano-driven album (not just 4-chord structures), with orchestra and synths/pads here and there. Kind of like "Riverside".

Orchestrated album (arranged by John Metcalf or someone similar), or a 'Best of' done with a string quartet and piano. Similar to what her original accompaniments were like on the 2012 tours.

(a sidenote on this one - when she starts singing and the then can't stop smiling when they start clapping! so cute!!)

Would love to hear it with these songs:

  • Terrance Loves You
  • Ultraviolence
  • Black Beauty
  • Honeymoon
  • Change
  • Love
  • How to Disappear
  • The Next Best American Record (with original lyrics ofc)

Drums, echo-y vocals, music you can’t dance to but can bop your head. Hip hop influences. Bass.

songs about love, sex, drugs. One big heartbreaking ballad like Old Money to make me cry.

like west coast, off to the races, prisoner, Cherry, Ultraviolence, thunder, freak, religion, etc

a nicki feature in the vein of her verse on High School

a ty dolla $ign feature on something fun and sexy

a neo psychedelia/surf rock album with hip hop drums. lyrical themes of falling in love with someone while in rehab and it’s the only thing keeping her sane in the institution  :hooker:

songs similar to mermaid motel, west coast, queen of the gas station, fuck it i love you, religion, venice bitch and thunder.

i love you, but you don't understand me.

The Target limited edition also includes a 'Boom Like That' poster, but it unfortunately doesn't ship with the Japanese bonus track. Collectors must buy both!

OK... 50s housewife lofi jazz...

storyline of a husband cheating on his wife with a younger mistress...

Wife slowly gets more frustrated as the album progressing and the final song involves the wife driving off into the sun with the husband's body in the back of her car...

So like "fake" happy 50s jazz dark housewife vibes

that makes no sense but heres some inspo: :candy:

A Christmas album.

she’s sitting in a blue 58 Belvedere convertible parked outside the Stanley hotel with snow.

the booklet is like the interior of hotel with a party / decorations and shit but she’s the only one there. Now that she’s actually doing a Christmas album I know this will never happen. Btw the vinyl is the same shade as the car...

A return to her take on jazz, a la TLY, Art Deco, freak, the other woman, shades of cool, the good life, and even Lizzy grant stuff like pin up galore. I love the melodies she comes up with in her jazzier songs and while honeymoon spends some time in that space it’d be cool to hear her revisit those influences in the context of her recent turn to folk and americana.

i'd live for a beach house produced album to present us with the ULTIMATE depression album of all time

that or a sex album in the same vein as madonna's erotica would be such a serve
