I dreamed I hated the For Free cover but then, an alternate version leaked and it was sooo beautiful, with incredible harmonies (Weyes' voice was to die for, kinda reminded me of Holocene with a tint of Freak bridge) and some reeaaally cool guitars

pardon I have to inject some inorganic, responsive yet still quite witty well meaning banter in how WD will be phenomenal when we get it in 2 days and 1 midnite of that tomorrow's morrow lest my posts are neglected, misgleaned and slid yet again. can't wait to explore the soundscape of the song and all the little details that make the whole of it.  all the music's been exemplarily, wistfully vivacious oh the splendor oh the eerie and purpose driven joy- DATMIMBC DATMIMBC DATMIMBC

I usually don’t mind listening to officially released singles released before the album... I had doubts regarding WD tho, since it’s the album opener, then I thought: fuck, life’s too short to not listen to WD as soon as it drops!

Also, I listened to BTD, Ride, Honeymoon and Love before their respective albums were out and it didn’t ruin my first listen at all, so... WD I’m waiting for you don’t be shy

The snippet we heard is the only "upbeat" part of it and after that it's just Jack playing the only 2 chords he knows on a muted piano, which will be the perfect transition to LMBYLAW
