Yes, unlikely it's the cover but that could be the font for it (or even for the title track single cover)

Record historically was used to refer to the physical vinyl you would put in a record player, therefor there really is no "correct" meaning for it. However, nowadays it's almost exclusively used to refer to an album so I really don't think we should have any doubts. And why would she announce a SINGLE so early
