I think jack actually helped capture a newer sound that felt authentic and lent to what nfr was going for, but it just didn't translate as precise when it came to cocc. there were some solid tracks like the first four of the record off the bat but it dwindled and the precision bc more of filler quality and the alt movie atmosphere began to sound generic n reused. i actually didn't think he tried too hard, but there was def a disconnect in the sound that translated a dissonance w lana and a lot of people felt objectively underwhelmed

In response to those saying the banisters in the photo should be blue— They shouldn’t be. In the song, the man she met never fulfilled his promises. He never came back every May, fixed her weather vane, gave her children, took away her pain, or helped her paint her banisters blue.

This album cover is AMAZING and i truly hope she keeps it , i think it could become one of my favorites  ( at first i thought it was fake and i was ready to be disappointed  ) 

i really liked the snippet as well and the way she touched herself in the video . It’s like seductive in way and romantic and sweet with the lyrics

fiiiiiiiiiiinaally some intellectual food. 

perhaps the banisters are their natural color bc they're unpainted, and it goes well w the bruising metaphor as bruises start the darkest they can be, which sets up the first track being BB. something a lot of people at least on here are hoping for. green can also symbolize envy and grey as uncertainty, so the duplicity of the use of colors are great great great. but she's always done this effectively but it's even better now. 

i'd like to being w the unsettled feeling i listened to in different circumstances from the 3 tracks. and what joins them imo is dread. so I think it's pretty fitting how the production lacks a certain kind of moisture in it. I wanna know how lethal the music is, when it might get gentler and how

also bruises usually yellow before healing completely so check that dress out. I do hope we get some kind of pearl vinyl for elegant wisdom, or gold, which is kinda in the yellow neighborhood.
