Now that I think about it, Lana posted the Cherry Blossom lyrics like 2 days after releasing Chemtrails so maybe that was the unreleased insiders were talking about when we first got info about the album and thunder was added later. But by boz posts it looks like Cherry Blossom was confirmed recently so the timeline is confusing af

Judging by BB, WW, Cherry Blossom, and the fact that the new song will be piano-only I can say it will be a very slow, mellow album with songs where the piano is the dominant instrument.

I know it won't happen, but imagine Cherry Blossom with strings  Especially if there's a build up the whole song and then they come in full force at the bridge

I imagine that she would have wanted to re-record Cherry Blossom. It was produced in 2013 with Fabrizio Argiolas, and I don’t know if the recording that leaked would necessarily be cleared for official release, since the credits surrounding it seem to be so up-in-the-air with Fabrizio’s status as producer. I also think she would want a more recent recording - rather than one from over 8 years ago - for consistency reasons. I can’t wait to hear how it sounds on the record!

Something about the already released singles, the snippet, and rumoured songs (Thunder & Cherry Blossom) are getting me sooo excited for this album! There is something magical about every one of these songs and I can truly feel how full-of-life they sound. I’m beyond ready for whatever Lana has for us!!

this album is shaping up to be a honeymoon 2.0 in the sense that all of the ballads are sonically and lyrically gorgeous. i hope she has a few more really strong ballads (including the ones we heard) along with some slow bops (a la freak and art deco). i really hope she goes that direction, honeymoon is my fave lana album.
