Random, but if Lana were to put a cover on the album (and not necessarily if you want one in general), which song would you choose to fit BB?

Diamonds And Rust definetly

your mind is so powerful omg. Even without considering the reference to the song in BB, the lyrics are so confessional and almost tangibly descriptive.

I would love to see Lana serve Wildflower Wildfire vocals on a song like this!!

“…and this is all I looked for all my life – to be able to give of my love, my spontaneous joy, unreservedly, with no fear of…misuse, betrayal.”
Sylvia Plath

I can see the tracklist going like this:

1. Blue Banisters

2. Map of LA/Good God/Whatever her name is

3. Slow song with a beat (Like something from HM)

4. Text Book

5. THE bop

6. Mid tempo rockish song

7. A soft rock ballad

8. Thunder

9. Something folky (not that I really want it but I expect it)

10. A dark/eerie sounding song (something like Yosemite or Heroin)

11. Cherry Blossom

12. Piano ballad

13. Wildflower Wildfire (even if she says in the song that she's not gonna burn, her rage grows into the next and last track of this album, her magnum opus:

14. DEALER (the screamer serve we've all been waiting for)

Maybe I'll try to come up with names for those other tracks eventually. For now I'll stick to manifesting this :thumb3:

You forget the beach vibes song

I don’t understand how Lana releases 3 stripped back ballads, teased a new piano heavy song, and everyone here is still convinced she’s going to go synthy hip-hop next. :thumb2:

shut up LDR9 will have this energy

I’m Always Chasing Rainbows

I think lyrically it would match the themes of the songs we’ve heard from the album so far.

Spoiler

Alice Cooper actually did a pretty good cover of it, so here’s that version to show what more can be done with the song:

thanks for your q, I WAS BORN READY FOR THIS

I am still conceptualising BB as Thunder + revenge btw

Riders on the Storm by The Doors :trisha: ride that thunder baby!

or

Revolution Blues by Neil Young (song written from the perspective of Charles Manson... "well I hear that Laurel Canyon's full of famous stars but I hate them worse than lepers and I'll kill them in their cars"...)

or

My, My, Hey, Hey (Out of the Blue) by Neil Young :trisha:

or

Guinnevere by Crosby, Stills & Nash :trisha: ("Guinnevere drew pentagrams like yours milady like yours" need i say more)

or

Speedway by Morrissey, tho associating herself w him would be unhinged to say the least ("all of the rumours, keeping me grounded, i never said, i never said that they were completely unfounded")

Her ending the album with WW into Dealer would be a SERVE!

Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!

I kinda lost hope we’d get anything beachy or summery with this record.

the vibe of BB is more “thoughtful Lana at the cabin”.

How haven’t we reached the next page yet? :air:

Well it’s been way too quiet on her part.

I really need / hope for some sort of announcement in the next ten days. Preorder with single would be a dream, if only for the tracklist and a solid release date. Hell, I’d even take a snippet.

i'm looking forward to transitions in this album! she should've had a full transition album for a long time ago, i could see ultraviolence, honeymoon and NFR! having seamless transitions that would really make sense

Spoiler

4 versions of the album, explicit w/ transitions, explicit w/o transitions, non-explicit w/ transitions and non-explicit w/o transitions :thumb3:
