There was speculation at one point that it was considered- it still fits the theme.

Don’t forget isn’t a bad song at all-it’s just typical sky fair but she overproduces if she has too much time but then on the flipside you have ntmt-great album but definitely a raw album with little polish. 
 

we would eat don’t forget up if she was a new artist. 
 

unholy is messy to me subjectively, I hate the vocal layering which was sloppily done-you can’t cover a bad vocal take with layering.

To add some more context, One Way to Heaven was actually never considered/intended for Masochism– people only assumed so due to the first snippets leaking in 2016. 
 

Sky's sessions with Chris Braide go back to early 2012 at latest, when her debut album was still going to be called Wild at Heart. The song was also registered prior to the release of NTMT.

Who tf cares, none of you are sky or have worked at the label, I appreciate the constructive information based on what we know-but artists reuse songs all the time-it fits the theme, sounds nothing like the ghost EP or NTMT so its going on my list

Remember that Sky said that she wanted Descending to be the lead? I think Capitol chose DF maybe because Sky showed them as the first track of the album, if she has ever showed them an early version of it. It's been a recurrent strategy by labels to make the first track the lead single.

 

It would really make sense, and DF seems to fit really well as the first track
